Emilio!....yep that is so kool...good job... a very nice arrangement....as Kor says ..you are a talented musical guy......:) Thx, Bud
Heya, great dynamic and a very cool percusion and drum line. The keys are very good, and the asian influence are beautiful. Thanks for this great music...download, download download
cool tune Emilio! Theres some excellent production going on and the rhythm is steady. The Synth guitar sounds real good, maybe too good......naw, I'm diggin it just the way it is. nice work Bro!
Answer to Dazed: Yep! Done with keyboards. But listen to the latest la Bikina and Noche de Bodas. Those will let you all appreciate the guitar sound from computer hosted synth.
What you perceive as "latin dance flair" is actually the fact latin america was conquered mostly by spaniards with moroccan crews. A lot of arab people came here and to Cuba. Of course, being the album Eklectica (music without origin) I am pleased of havin fooled you... (je,je,je)

I like it. This has that heavy south america dance flair. very festive feel where the drinks should be flowing. The nylon guitar work is fantastic. Done with keys?
great mix and a great listen.

A nice relaxing listen...and a lovely vocal line well performed...overall a sweet song...great work. Gordon @ Dragonstale

Really enjoyed this one, great ambience within the vocals, works well, and that Latin feel hold it all together nicely. Well Done........
Love this piece!
The vox treatent is really fantastic, and the vibe takes me away.
Well done!
Beautiful percusion and very nice sound. i like the vocals and the xylophon. Wonderful mood and great work
The production sounds really good for this song....Did`nt particularly like the xylophone sounds but have to say that the bass hits the right spot for me and like it a lot, reminds me of an old friend.:-) drums are good too. All in all a nice listen..
Happy New Year
Luv Mags xx :-)

A good listen indeed. The vocoded vox work well. Has a nice feel to it with parts reminiscent of Nigerian Juju music, though the steel drum/xylophone do dominate a little. The bass is rockin though and so is those nice small percussion thingamijs...
Nice one.

I love drumming this style of music...nice guitar pickin...love the blues.....:)Bud
Wonderful blues song. I love the vocals very great. The sax are so cool, great arranged and a fantastic mood. Great stuff.
You know I couldn't tell it was a "digital treatment" on the vox.
Very cool! It sounds every bit like a smoky bar Blues tune. I would certainly consider this a success! I'd like to hear what else you could accomplish with that "digital treatment!"
As noted already - the keys really sell this as a staring into the bottom of an empty glass Blues tune.
If you find any more secrets to being a one-man show who can't sing, please pass it on. I'm in the same boat as you are. :)
Well done!
Well.... I like that of "unusual and different" Precisely what comes out of musical research. There is an old saying: " Nothing new comes out of the old..."
For us, those cannot sing, the new tech. brings possibilities to put lyrics in pure synthetic instrumentals. I´kk keep experimenting. Next one I will try to be NOT unusual or different. I will try plain, plain ole blues sound, and see how does it come out...
Thanks again for reviewing my mad things....
Sweet keys. The vocal approach is unusual but good. Nice work and cool sax line.
Regards
John
Ayuh! Dem's da balooze, awright.
There's a kind of juke joint looseness to the drums that I like in this. The vocal is kinda different -- it sounds like a tenor sax in places. Cool. It's a little hard to make out some of the lyrics, but I still like the effect in this song.
Oh -- lucious keyboard sound. You get the Bluespicker Seal of Approval for that!

Nice Latin-Song you have produced with glassclear recording. Is it a virtual singer? If yes: fantastic sung. If not: also fantastic sung. :)). I like it.

Cool tune. and I wouldn't know it wasn't stringed instruments if you didn't say it.
Wedding Night, isn't it? Something like that, I think. Anyway, this is interesting, especially since it is an all-synth number, with nary a real stringed instrument to be found.

yeah I must say this is very good. knowing it was done with synth and not guitar is pretty impressive. It does sound like two guitars.

love it! reminds me of some of the movies with the morroccan themes. exceptional mix and very well done!
This is an unusual -- it has a latin rhythm to it, but a kind of Ali-Babba Middle-Eastern sound to it. Interesting marriage of cultural elements. I kind of like it, because of its uniqueness.
Very ok and well produced. The dancer have done a great dance, I think so.
OK Dear Tsargoth!
IF you find some time (and a ticket) take a flight to Morocco, preferable Mecknesh and check the music. Most of it is monotonal. The basis is that the "chord" instruments play a steady background while the melodist plays sort of a "snake enchanting" lick. Having a rudimentary solo instrument, no chord changes are usual. The variations are mainly done in the rythmic section and the melody goes fiddling within a single chord.
I can understand it can be boring for occidental listeners, but this was written just for a youngster dancer doing her first belly dance. You should see the combination.... Not boring at all!
Best regards!
Good mix, good sound, but rather a boring track, since there are no chord changes at all.
Peace,
Tsargoth

I am here again ... have seen that I wrote a review in the past. But this song is worth to visit more times. I like the percussions and the flute very much. Great atmosphere is in this track, so I like it.

Hello Emilio, a very good world mix, the latain and asian mix is very good. I like the spanish huitar very. Great beat gives this song a very good dancing part. The deep texture are beautiful, the vox has a little mystic touch. Great mood again in this song.Santastic production - i like it very. - Sven

This track is extremly good and has a wonderful atmosphere. My compliment.

To all folks.... Thanks! I am getting very enthus. with this portal and my new FRIENDS!
Comments: The piano was intended to come up stronger. It is according to my silly vision, the ship´s body. It is the "thing" floating on the rest of sounds. Just to establish heavy bouyance... (crazy... I Know!)
I suppose we are talking about Isla de Pajaros....
Regarding the pitch change, I don't know if this is recommended for Isla or for the Jazzy House Singer?
I agree for the second. Isla is kind of short and there is a little too much color and detail to ad more as a key change. That is my problem. I use "too much paint" and when it is time to do a key change I already been playing for 7 or 8 minutes. You know how it is to retry something. Most music you are hearing are short term productions, after some improvisation, then painting over, and creating havoc, as usual. You all are VERY kind appreciating my esotheric efforts.
Check now African Ritual. That is REALLY crazy!!!!
Happy New Year for all...
Nice ambiance to this tune.Good production, and a very relaxing, enjoyable listen.

I liked this piece - it has a nice easy swing to it. I did think that if you broke out into something a little different (perhaps a key change?) it would have made the piece a little stronger. Anyway, I really enjoyed it as it stands, that was just a thought I had.
Very cool tune. Nice layering of all the sounds. That piano does seem to come in a bit over everything else, though --- at least at the point where in comes in. But, man, I like this a lot. Super job.
Very VERY Nice!!! Great mood setting song. Great production.....most pleasurable listen.....EXCELLENT Theme!!

oh.. i love the brass, so cool. this what i need. Fantastic arranged track with groovey sounds. Perfect work.
To reference is what caught my attention. Certainly a descent track with a lovely base melody. IfI could point out one thing, one of the brass voices ought to have been in the fore and sounding like the main melodic brass instrument.
nevertheless, its a cool production on the whole.

Well, ok Emelio...the image for this song got me here first. Guatemala is a beautiful country. I spent a week there. The people are marvelous! This is certainly a perfect production and I absolutely love the interaction of the two strings (cellos? violas?) sometimes doubling, sometimes counter-melody. Very well conceived piece my friend!! Welcome to iMS!!!!!!! ~Blake

I quite like this for some reason. Some of the poercussion/drum things seems a bit over everything else (but that's probably a product of my listening to this through my tiny laptop speakers). Yep -- this is a fun, little pop tune with a hint of funk thrown in. A very fun tune.
