ditto nigel.. great to have you back here on the new mixpo austn.. you were always one of my fave musicians on the old mixpo.. you know why guy? because your music is outside the box.. innovative.. alternative in every direction.. like a musical erection.. oops my bad, dad.. lol.. couldn't pass up the first one on your list.. you picked the right pic.. this song confirms what i said.. non-commercial music in your hands is LIVE.. not dead.. yep.. cool to sing about teasers.. but what awesome sounds surround.. love the bass.. and that break later with acoustic and.. er.. sexy sounds make hearts pound.. that is some raunchy tone on the axe too mang.. this song got it all.. austn music walkin tall.. love those guitar runs at the close.. you know when you took off her clothes?.. lol.. great to have you back jack!!

Austn ..
Welcome to the new Mixposure, delighted you found us ok :)
Pretty wild stuff...
Reminds me of the 60's stuff, psychedelic pop/rock,with a nice palette of authentic suonds to go with it.
Wild and unchained,and builtto hook.
Nigel.

Man, Austn you do have a seriously unique approach to writing your songs and that is what draws me in. You get a very original sound and your arrangements always have a surprise in store.

Very cool atmospheric vibe that sounds like the unlikely cross of Black Oak Arkansas, Zappa and Bowie!! (btw, our progressive influences are similar). Love the floaty feel here punctuated by very creative sound architecture. There's more here than might first catch the ear. This captivating song hangs together suprisingly well. And it's melodic identity stays intact. An inventive and intriguing song I wish I wrote man! Thoroughly enjoyed about 4x. ~Blake
P.S. Is there anyone out there? Of course...is that even a question any more?

VERY interesting harmonics going on here... strangeness "musicified" (to coin a new word)... if this doesn't "shake the listener out of their seat", they must be GLUED to it. Gets a HIGHLY RECOMMENDED from me!

Interesting opening....
Dark and sinister vocals...
Once again,I am reminded of the 60's pschedelia.
It has a nice disjointed, slightly nightmarish atmosphere to it.
Very carefuly crafted indeed,no wasted sounds here.
VERY atmospheric stuff indeed mate!
Loved the modulated vocals :)
Nigel.

Dark, menacing, incredible production... You have some major talent here, of that there is no doubt. This, to me, would work well in a soundtrack, but it would have to be a damn good movie.
Peace,
Jim

Going thru some of your stuff Austn....very creative and certainly original material. Love the way you come across as a poet and via your music. Voice a cross between Zappa and Bowie to my ears. An important element to me, and often dismissed in what we might call avant-garde music forms, is melodic identity. You have not forgotten about this. Really, another engaging listen here. Great style, song and production. ~Blake

Hey Austin, this is a "mind-blower" of a great tune, man! I love it all the way. The intro was just superb and I didn't know what to expect next! Very cool transition into the heart of the song. This is really some outstanding writing/composing. VERY well done!
Cheers,
Mike

hey old friend, great to see you here and sharing your music.
This track is very creative and the long intro does set up the vocal section nicely. what a cool vocal delivery.

Hi Austin...
Nice to meet you.
Really kewl intro on this one. Shades of Pink Floyd!
It's been quite a while since I've heard music like this...it made me feel like I was back in the 70's again...except the sound quality is better than back then. Very different stuff. Kewl track.Nicely done
Hugs...Mike (NAV)

Very inventive piece of psychedelic/indie pop. Shades of influences ranging from The Beatles to the Doors to Bowie and beyond, but shines in its own originality. Very creative intro with the animal and other effects blending really well with the keys. Nice use of upper and lower register vocals and a very interesting journey throughout.
Cheers
Brian

i hadn't heard any of your music since the old Mixposure was rolling intermittently. Man, a kick-**** tune, lots of layers and subtlety. I hope things are going well in your world.
Peace,
Jim

It's great to meet you again in Cyberland, Austn, with your energy and rock power. I like the atmosphere of this song very much, including the psychedelic touch. Some instruments and especially the vocals could sound cöearer on a lower level, nevertheless - this is passion & handmade music, as I love it.
