For some reason the intro bit reminded me of Emerson, Lake and Palmer. You have some very interesting tones at work here. I'll join the chorus of souls here suggesting that vocals would push this song over the top.
Nice piece of work, here.

I am a great fan of "monster-guitars". Interesting and good composition. Dazed has right: Vocals could be very good.

very nice. kind of reminds me of Joe Walsh. Nice gritty guitars! I like the progression here. You could easily add some vocals into this!

From all of your tracks "Kowloons Return" enfolds the most effect to me. I feel somewhat transported into a contemplative yet positive mood. I feel the urge to think about things... interesting what your music does to me! :)

thanksvery much for the comments. Well the concept is that this is a live solo performance which uses repeated looping technology. This allows one to play a part, loop it and overdub on top. You can do this as much as you want. Here I have set the decay of the repeats at various feedback levels so that the whole thing doesnt build up too thick. Here I use a Roland GR50 guitar synth.
The Frippertronic concpt was developed by Robert Fripp and Brian Eno. There they used two modified revox tape recorders. Today Fripp uses a more modern appraoch in his unbelievable Live "soundscapes" performances.
However I beleive it was invented before that probably in France in the 50's. Perhaps Les Paul did something somewhat similar too, Im unsure.

8:05 . i thought the intro was a little long, but it wasn't an intro. i am a little thick headed, so i guess i don't understand the concept of this work. it does have a nice flow. the layering is also really good. i suppose this might be mood music.

Dark and brooding with nice use of strings and some good guitar work. Very inventive time changes. Okay, some drum rolls didn't quite make it, but that's for tidying up later. The feel is great and there's a very prog feel to it and loads of atmosphere.
Cheers

This tune hasa good ochestral full sound, all the elements seem to work together as one whole, even the good guitar work, like that tempo change, more of those add more variance/interest here,...like the percussion. Good original tune.
