Very good song Dan! I was looking for the lyric but didn't see any or any info :o( Your acoustic sound is warm and inviting and your vocal furthers the sad melancholy vibe. This is the kind of bare realness that makes me stop and listen. Great job!

You have a great touch with the acoustic. Wonderful playing. The vocals are deep and intelligent, and delivered with a great sense of importance, which the song greatly deserves. Outstanding track!
Peace,
Jim

Very nice "live" sound to this beautiful, acoustic little number..A gorgeous true sounding, unaffected vocal, you should feel proud of that..This has a sad feel, that more or less always grabs my attention and it sure does here...Very nice lyrics...Hummm, what you say your name was..ahhha...Dan Falvey...I`ll have to look out for more...:-)
Peace n love mags :-)

Once again, the vocals carry the song here. Youb have chosen to keep the same sound on the guitar (heavy on the reverb and hollow sound). Have you considered recording it straight up to get the full resonance of it? It's too pretty to have so far away and needs the full warmth it deserves.

I try my best to stick to genres that I know about (namely, the electronic ones and ones with great drum work) but if I see "acoustic" as the genre... I just can't pass it up.
Very nice voice! Fits the guitar beautifully, and your chord progressions were a little odd (compared to most modern music) but they sounded absolutely amazing. A really relaxing piece, I really liked what I heard here :) Definitely keep this up! Great work.

This is really nice song...well performed and recorded. Nice vocal presence...and the Acoustic guitar work shines. Thanks for ahring this one.

Dan : like the words and the simple set up of the song. Its a nice structure that belies the simplistic sound that flows from the headphones.Such a sweet tone on the lead reaches out from the song and grabs me.....
Well played with a really emotive feeling which is hard to do with anything other than a voice.
And that brings me to your vocal : its damned good ! delievered close up and with a hint of pain.
Nice

I liked it, the vocals and the rythem line grows on you as the song progresses. Really reminds me of a song you would hear in a Ireland Pub as they always have songplayers in there.
Nice work

Guitar is working nicely for me! Haunting melody. Vocals sound great and they are not bloated with effects. Outstanding job on the song!

Very nice guitar. Interesting vocal melody. I must suggest making the vocals a bit "dryer"; this is a case where the effects take away some of the vocal power. Nice harmony-- a perfect touch to add a layer. A top-notch tune.

Nice acoustic track. I simply like the song and the guitar playing. I will surely find some time to track down your other stuff posted.

Very nice tune, Dan. Great vocals with super playing and a very nice chord progression!

This fit my mood today remarkably well.
Love the clear acoustic guitar. This would be fantastic live - late night set - with a real drummer on brushes... Nice work - your lyric is ez to relate to.

very good guitar work... I always am amazed at fingerpickers, I try and my fingers get stuck in between the strings... great song.

This is the third song of yours I've listened to and your acoustic fingerpicking skill is very evident as is your songwriting abilities. I like your voice. Your music and melodys faintly remind of Cat Stevens' earlier music. I mean that as a compliment and I hope you take it as such :o) I enjoyed all three songs!

Dan the Man!! That is just some beautiful acoustic work my friend. I could kick back in a dimly lit room and listen to this stuff for hours.

Very touching lyrics and absolutely beautiful guitar playing. A winner all around in my opinion.

This is a sweet little number, your acoustic playing is very good. Liked the different feels you added to the arpeggios. It supported a nice vocal performance. Enjoyed this well done

 |
Love the warm tone you're puttin' forth with the finger picking!
The solo run is excellent and precise. You have a very effective calming tone in your voice. I enjoyed this one!

Every time you blow me away with your acoustic, then I listen to the next one and get blown away a little more. Nice work bud.

I really liked this, the kind of number I hear regularly at UK folk clubs. Great lyrics, strong chorus and a well performed and solid guitar line. nice work
