Wow, a cinematic epic piece Gabriel...listened w headphones as i'm working. The amazing swells, narration, Rick on 12er, Dazed's vox...what a great chord progression for vocals. Enter the percussives and lead guitar. Great use of rhymthmic and synth texturing. One monster of a song! What a ride....congrats to everyone involved and to your skills at creating such a wonderful journey!! ~Blake

Hi Gabriel, told you I'll stop by checking out your tunes ... :-) 'Goblins' is one great, spaceous and mysterious piece of art. Wonderful narrating within the song, deep lush and extraordinary synth sounds ... wow. I'm in awe, to say the least. Wonderful production all over the place. Glad I've 'discovered' your music! Heinz.

Well haing heard this for the first time on radio this week,I can only send mya dmiration to ALL concerned. All brought their very best best to this EPIC piece. Epic is justa word, but this is truly EPIC. Each section could represent apice in itself, but combined all together it becomes HUGE,and stands great testament to all involved. The musicanship is superb,as is production, but they are just technical words,the3 abiding impression is one of awe. Magnificent piece guys, this truklty stands as an epic amoungst epics. Nigel.

Hi Gabe, Well I was with you from the beginning of this epic. And it was an honor when you asked me to create the 12string progression for Dazed to sing to..then the outro guitar solo. I thank you from my heart for sharing this song with me. Gina did and awseome job creating the narration and then performing it. peace and more, Rick

A mighty Millenium gem by Gabriel... majestic sound design, shining vocals, passion guitars, tribal power, and a classic factor. Everyone should enjoy this cinematic treasure, have patience, listen to it, and you'll get lost in it's dramatic climax, in the messages of the drum. Vocals by Dazed. Do I have to say more? Pascal

The arrangement, so perfect, huge, so very classical with the various movements, and put together with great care and attention to detail. The vocals and voices accomplish some great things, yes, Dazed, you sing the Hell out of this (and that's a great thing). Yeah, "astonishing," that pretty much describes the experience of hearing this for the first time. And I just know I'm gonna hear this again... Thanks for sharing this colossal effort, Gabriel (and Dazed). peace, Jim

Gabriel I have to say this is one of the finest songs I have had the honor to be associated with. This song had class written on it from beginning to end. The musicianship on this piece was nothing less than astonishing. Thanks for letting me be a part of it. Dazed

Ok... Settles back, tilts chair and waits... Where oh where will we go with this one?...... Ah,yes:) Nexus... You playing the guitar :) :) You know,I don't say it unless I mean it and very rarely do I say it,but your lead blew my socks off. It's all about EMOTION for me. It's all about HOW you play, how you feel when you play, and why you bend this note and not that one,all in the feel, caught in the recording. Awesome track of course, but the star has to be your lead work Gabriel, and I will have serious words with you if you do not play like this more often!! Mate, all kidding aside, you have a gift to play lead ,don't neglect it,please! There is something about every single's person's lead that is UNIQUE. Awesome lead. More please. Excellent track. Nigel.

Hey Shane, great to hear from you my friend. Hopes things are much better for you. Thanks for the feedback! I should have put a disclaimer in this piece "Still in the works"....lol. I actually have 3 different versions of this piece and they all definately need some major tweeks and panning still. I'll put an update up when I'm satisfied. In the meantime keep those suggestions coming !!!

Huge ,,, HUGE essence conveyed in this sound. In the grandeuer of this , i believe Gabrial that you have put alot of energy and artistic excitment into this. I want to be a true friend and be helpful,, rather than just gloss over things and say it's great- and for me,, im wondering idf maybe you can clean out and tighten the sound a bit. Often,, it seems like there are too many different synth voices fighting for space at the same time. I feel , that for the grandness and beauty of this to really come through,, you need to carve it out a bit more. - somehow use less to make it more. thats my ears reaction anyway. cheers shane

Not really a bolero.... Come On! This a Galactic Pop Song!!!! Big as the Milky Way.... The "organ" texture makes it religious and prophane at same time.... The progression, a plagal sequence, bring some astralized "beach boys" or something.... Very intriging and entertaining !!! Emilio

Not often one hears a Bolero. This has a fine rhythm. Love the stereo panning doing wonderful things in my mind across my headset. Great production. Love the gentle reaxing feel; the synth helps with that sp well. A soothing atmosphere you've created...very tasteful sound all around. Fine sound mix.Warm sensations. Original. Timeless music. -Your friend. -Vesa.

Gabriel, you are a master of the epic productions. Each one given so much work to build. I tend to use an aweful lot of tracks on most songs I do,so I can really appreciate how time consuming and testing it can be to contain so much sound in the stereo field. This is simply beautiful. The pulsing chord patterns, the flowing strings... All so grand and epic, epic like a landscape... By the time we hit the 4 min mark, the power is immense!! beautifuly composed mate, awesome amount of power. Majestic. Nigel.

Lost for words......2 hours you say...sensational. Love the vuild up. Although it's a bolero it puts me in mind of an ancient Egyptian procession. I could imagine Cleopatra being carried through the streets of Cairo as her subjects looked on adoringly. Why Egypt, I don't know. Maybe it's just the majesty of the piece and she was the only ancient leader who came to mind. This certainly has a wide screen feel. Love those strings and those cymbal crashed. Great work Cheers Brian

ahh nice Gabe..A definate 50's love ballad theme...done with todays wildly dynamic musical tools....Fimiliar chordal patterns swirl around the room here.."on this looks to" warm spring morning..This powerful piece of music brought out some very deep inplanted memories for me...It's breaths deeply with the bolero pattern. This is a great idea Gabe, one which i hope you'll dive in to with your final presention mixin prowness..lol I hear the BIGGINS in this...carefully just as the borlero dictates. Beautifully deliveried, you use power SO well. Excellent work. za-zamm!!

so you can do in 2 hours what it takes most of us a lifetime to achieve? gee thanks alot gabe !!.. lol.. this is lovely.. I like the bolero rhythm a lot and it doesn't reimind at all of ravel.. much more film music.. panoramic music.. over the desert at night on camels.. a sensual slow regularly paced flow.. the melody is slow enough to have solo flourishes interspaced.. :-)).. lol.. i really dig it and had fun thinking about boleros and how a spanish sounding mode on guitar would be just to my tastes.. lol.. like the gongs near the end.. i'd say this is an excellent new take on bolero form.. if you invested another 2 hours who knows if we could handle it?.. lol.. great job gabe.. awesome size.. how long was that?.. 14 inches.. uh.. minutes? lol.. studly music bud.. cheers..

yup, you're certainly correct Don. Wouldn't take much at all for this piece to fall apart and lose its feel. I was really tempted to push the guitar a few dbs higher, I mean REALLY tempted, Rick did such an incredible job. In the end I think the balance won over :)

Gabe, you have a wonderful piece of music here. Definitely should go in the 'brag book!!' Rick, good job on a really tough type of tune to play on. It wouldn't take much for this delicate piece to fall apart, but you stayed right where you needed to stay with melodic playing and it paid off.

Gabriel, you know the 1st thing that struck me about this one was how it sounded alike to Pulp's The Trees its only the initial strings though as this glides along and the different textures fill the air it takes on a live of its own. Some truly stunning bright shades and grandness of extreme once those timpani's let RWK in the door ! yes indeed a symphonic meander colourful and well executed. Oh man that cymbal swell is freaking great !!!!!! Sly

On the scale of things you hear, this truly sits by itself. The grandeur of this piece is a mile high. It just keeps getting bigger, and when that sweet guitar tone hits the thing lifts even higher. My spidey sense tell me you have had classical composition training? Perhaps even was a classical student at one time? It's not just something in THIS song,it's across them all... It's the epic scale of things, the "Movements" in the songs... This is yet another dynamite piece. Rich, great depth in the sound and some superb lead work. I think the one word that best sums up your composition is:"Magnificent" All the other descriptive like,great,good,wonderful,awesome,seem.... Unfitting to the style. So,yes,Magnificent piece. Nigel.

I think in our case we're depicting the industrial nightmare we've created.. lol.. that's why ked's out of key tones sound so right.. because the world isn't and we can only laugh cynically at our own inablitiy to see it.. let's all just make happy pop music.. lol.. thanks brothers for this bit of revolution.. the musically best solution.. cheers..

dance of the giants.. yeah you and brahms.. you and schubert.. that's what the intro sounds like.. nice classical piano touch.. a couple brilliant chord voicings mixed with the melodic scale runs.. man who would have thought the industrial jugernaut would emege from that? but it does.. bridging the centuries.. a very bolero-like rhythm to it.. and i really like the pink floyd guitarisms back in there too.. do you do any short tunes gabe or only huge masterpieces?.. lol.. great piece of music as we've come to expect from your studio.. sounds almost gamelan in there a bit sometimes.. a trip around the musical globe.. thanks brother :-)
