Just completed and uploaded TIME TUNNELS another piece of Ambient Electronic Space Rock in the Berlin School style for all you Tangerine Dreamers. This one explores an increasingly intense arpeggio as the filters and modulators take effect through the track built into an ambient soundscape.......lay back and enjoy the trip. |

ZEITGEIST is now online and if you like Tangerine Dream then this is for you. Zeitgeist is German for Spirit of the Age.....Zeit means Time and Geist is Spirit or Ghost. A very apt title for this piece which I have created in the Berlin School style of Ambient Spacerock. This is very Tangerine Dream / Klaus Schulze inspired but there is also a hint of Vangelis and a whole lot of the Global Trancemission vibe :) Completely recorded using my hardware synths using live overdubs and no sequencing this was even recorded vintage style so lay back....drift away and enjoy the trip man because this is heaven. :D |

Just uploaded a newly finished track called Arabesque. This one takes a dreamy ethnic trip across deserts with some spacy synths,ethnic beats and lots of flute. No samples used.....the flute is from a Korg Prophecy synth which does physical models of wind instruments. A very chilled out piece of psychedelia :) |

Crystal Visions....just released today. Another Psychedelic Rock track with some Deep Dub Bass and smooth chiming keys. Another Dreamlike trip ...very warm and uplifting keyboard....sometimes almost getting into a jazzy feel. Sequenced Drums and Bass but the rest was all overtracked live and its all on hardware synths. Weird ambient parts are from a Waldorf and all sounds are programmed or modified in the GT laboratory. :) :) |

Released today here and on YouTube is a video for my track DREAMQUEST. This track needed a nice piece of Psychedelic art to go with the audio so here it is. I made this using several different programs and it is all computer generated digital art . Some of the vortex sequences look almost in 3D. Sorry about the poor quality but 10 mins of video is a big file and it had to be compressed a lot. I have included the You Tube embedded video because the version on here suffers from buffering. Hope you enjoy it.....its a real Head Trip. :) |

This track is typical of this genre with bassline and kickdrums being constant throughout. Some people can find this too repetitive but the synths create lots of variation and create tension as they buildup while at points there is ambient sounds in there too. Probably not to everybody's taste this track but I enjoyed making it anyway. :) |

DREAMQUEST is my first new song for 2008 and shows a change of direction as I go back to my strengths. Made entirely with hardware synths most of this track was multitracked in live....even the arpeggios. The track breathes so much more and I spent a long time on the production to give it the space. This is Psychedelic rock inspired by the mighty UK group Ozric Tentacles....if you haven't heard of them then you must check them out. I have another new track in the can to follow which will be a Psytrance track......coming soon !!! :) |

I have added my video of The Ghosts of Atlantis both here and at YouTube. The music was made entirely on a Roland JD800 (monster) synth into a multitrack HD recorder. The video was compiled from underwater footage from www.reefvideo.org and then processed heavily with effects. The result has been described as an underwater trip on acid !!!!! Watch out ....for the sharks !!! ---- |

ASTROMEGATRON is here.....I told you I was a diverse musician !!!! This is a pure Soundscape that takes you on a trip to Deep Deep Space. I have made quite a few of these type of experimental pieces and there is even a whole album on I-Tunes called INFINITE SPACE. So it will be interesting to see what you all think of this....be warned....you cannot dance to it ...you cannot sing it or hum it.....in fact you will probably not even understand it ....but its either damn cool or complete junk depending on your imagination !!!!! |

So here I am ....another refugee from the sinking of the good ship Mixposure. Thought it was about time that I joined the flock here as there are quite a few names that I know and some that I recognise. Also hope to meet some more new friends and like minded musicians so please feel free to communicate if you like my music. I have kicked off here with a brand new track called Invocation. Those who know me will know that I tend to be somewhat diverse and experimental so in time I will add more tracks here that will be anything from Ambient Electronic to Psychedelic Rock with guitars and anything in between.
