Peter... I am hoping that you will stay,at least for now.... Out of chaos of sound, all things are formed and made to dance in time. Those are HEAVY duty arps... No mistaking their intent, and the siren like wail behind them is gorgeous... Their raising was magical..... Their is some SERIOUS bass end here,my old wharfdales never lie. Perfectly titled IMHO. It is a vast and expanive journey in imagination... A feat of atmosphere. Excellent as always!! Nigel.

Wow This is almost in turmoil at the start and I mean that in a good sense. There is a real sense of tension in the way you un fold those step sequences.......and that dancing bass arp in behind going all across the place adds to the feeling. Great filter work Peter I am impressed by the way you manage to crescendo and then become composed :its compelling. I am hearing gentle piano motif on top of this you know they are there in my head...... Its damned great as it is though I'm just kinda talking out loud if you know what I mean, tension is becoming fraught is the end near ? theres something building in the background like a wave........its coming forward and drifting away - coming on agian : anti climax into oblivion. Very thoughtfully done and very well recorded. I'd tip my hat too you but I ain't wearing one today its actually to hot which is nice. Sly

Wonderful and eerie soundscape. So many things happening, but the sound has real depth and all parts have their own space (am I talking rubbish? - I know what I mean!) Hypnotic! Cheers Richard

Peter, this really should come with footage from "2001" or "Fantastic Voyage"... so visual, moody and overwhelming all at once. You are one of the most creative individuals I now. And I continue to be amazed and impressed with your work. Outstanding! Peace, Jim

I am writing this as I listen to this. I honestly feel like parts of my brain are working that normally take most of the week off. There is so much going on this song it is amazing. Listening to one part is like trying to watch one color in a painting. The break at the very end is like the train car in the underground / tube slowing down for a station. Freakin' cool music.

Major Thanks to all who have reviewed this and my other recent tracks. Its a pleasure for me to make these tracks based on my own musical roots and influences. Tangerine Dream's early Virgin releases are the first thing that opened my eyes to real electronic music all those years ago and are still amongst their best works. It is a wonderful thing to find that people still appreciate this type of music as to me its timeless but some may see it as being past its sell by date. Still I try to add my own things to this to keep a fresh modern approach to the whole thing. I may well be doing more tracks in this style if anyone is interested. Thanks again to all....I must get around to returning a few reviews soon so don't think that I have forgotten you !!!!!!

I am afraid I do not have the specialist knowledge to view this within it's roots, but I know what I like :) The atmosphere was tense, and the giveway into the deep pulses was beautiful. The thing about this is how HUGE the sound arena is... A massive sense of space!! To me it is musical perfection. I can only dream of making music like this. It is expansive,it fuels the imagination,it posativly sings class and just feels like it can get no better. Stunning Peter,so much power and space!! Nigel.

Agree with WAVE...this is a tremendous "floater" indeed. Love the propulsion of the synth bass. The varied attack and delay throughout give a very spacey feel to this. It's a real journey to the unknown, but although mysterious is nonetheless very pleasurable. Cheers Brian

Bravo...nice floater, synths that melt into your ear, slow filter sweep on the arps, classic recreation. Very cool job of sprinkling things in the high end to dance around the room. I'm always into some good synth cinema like this, well done.

Does Nigel mean Mr.Glass..... The clarity here is what strikes 1st Peter. Its crystal clear.Which is good. Theres some beautiful playing on this one Peter.Really nicely done indeed. The higher notes on that flute (the virtual one yes the prophecy)is great:a little high at times though where you hit the higher octave notes....just kinda verging on too loud...though I have to admit my ears aren't at their best at the moment so forgive me if its fine for everyone else - could just be my left ear playing "leave me alone" LOL. I'm loving the arps that dance so prettily. And the bass line that holds the whole thing intact. You are indeed as Nigel says one helluva composer. You really need to think about film music more strongly its a lucrative business to be in and you have a natural talent for such pieces. Sly

Powerful majestic piece of music, Peter. Remarkable! Thoughts and melodies flow so well, an amazing number of ideas come together, and you've managed to create an epic. This one will be around for a long time, I believe. It's certainly a new favorite for me! Peace, Jim

This is fascinating, I'm in a caravan crossing the deserts of Arabia.....the layering of the synth ambiences and solos perfectly captures the vibes of the desert. Like Rapster said, the bass is grabbing my woofers, I didn't know they could move that far......A great listen.

Ah..... Sigh....... Bliss....... Of course you know I am going to mention Phil,so there, that is that out of the way :) But seriously... To put that in context... Phil Thornton to me is one of my musical heroes. I remember listening to his Egyptian album "Eternal Egypt" with Hossam Ramsey on percussion, and just sitting there with this big old grin across my face the whole way through. It really did feel like sitting watching the a master. I get identical feelings here. I am posativly envious of that flute modelling. Percussion, sythns and atmosphere.......phew.... I am equaly envious of your stunning ability to create tracks like this. I feel as though I am spectator to some inner cinema of yours... This is stunning Peter,if I could have a whole box set of such music..... I would be one very happy man indeed. Excellent. Nigel.

I'm trying to catch up, Peter. And I just new I'd find something new and brilliant right here on your page. I've noticed lately, the last few of your songs, how well you build your creations. Right from the drums: the bass drum comes in and goes, nudging things along. And the grooves.... ah, that's magical stuff. I always feel like I'm taking a journey when I hear your music, and this track is no exception. So much imagination on this track. The melodies that come in around 2:50 or so are breathtaking. And there are always an abundance of surprises along the way... Excellent! Thanks for sharing your music. peace, Jim

IMHO,based on a lifetime experience in what is loosely termed as spacerock, and all the crossovers and spinoffs, you are without peer. From the legends of the genre, bands like Hawkwind,Ozrics, onto others like Eloy,Tim Blake's crystal Machine, with his AWESOME opus "New Jeruselem", and on further until we cross into new age music, where leading lights like Phil Thornton,Terry Oldfield and so many others dominate, this whole broad spectrum to me can be summed up in one word:"WONDER" The music is music of the imagination,it sets free that imagination on joureys without and within, and always with such a postive stance from the listeners point of view. It is very rare indeed that an artist can traverse all those styles, but fortunately for us,here is one such artist. This has very much the new age vibe to it,yet it has at it's heart a very spacerock beat, and much of what occurs inbetween washes over into spacerock with stunning ease. It is VERY rare for me to point with a neon flashing sign and declare "This" to be the finest one will ever hear, but in truth,IMHO,this is the best you will ever hear in this very broad genre. Call it world, call it new age, call it spacerock,it doesn't really matter because they are just the lables and not the thing itself. The thing itself is a thing of beauty. Excellent. Nigel.

wow, the thump of the kick sounds great: complex. love the low low bass, and the hats. seamlessly put together. you are totally right about 'deeper tweaked' hardware synths. I wish I could afford some :) this has the influences of many bands in it... from Vangelis to Tangerine Dream and more.. and yet it is a gestalt. love it GT. seriously. it just sounds excellent. inspiring. --Z

First off Peter... Great to see you picking the reviews up here mate. Like you I have been very concerned about finding that audience and the good peoploe here have been a great find! So...here we are... A fresh spring in your step and new sounds and sights to convey. The class is evident even in the opening passage. Production sparkles and you KNOW that is going to be a safe journey. A sure sign is that I turn it up on the headphones, which I just did. I want it to surround me,to coccoon my imagination against reality and just let it float free. The sounds, musicanship, production are all top notch, but to be honest,I can't really concentrate too much on that because the whole soundscapoe is grabbing me and sending mental images flying across the mind's eye. What do I see... Thing I have no name for... Places that have no reference, worlds of imagination.... A mesmerising dance by some beautiful woman in a smoke filled bar on a world that is just the other side of real, and a million lives and light years away from my own current space/time.. And,therein lays the realy beauty and the real compliment to your music. I am a seasoned traveller, maybe road weary and a touch jaundiced despite all the wonders of the universe, and yet,you still moved me and renewed that sense of wonder. All I can say is thank you. That is.... Superb. Nigel.

Completely dreamy, Peter. This track is almost etheral, with all the swirling synths, underpinned with the excellent bass/drum groove. And you take the theme so many places, like a musically-guided tour of deep space. I suspect this represents a great deal of hard work, and I must say it paid off handsomely. Thanks for sharing this! Peace, Jim

Thanks a lot for all these lovely reviews folks....much appreciated and I will get to your music soon as I can. So two Brian's think that the drums are a bit repetitive .....well how can I argue with 2 x Brians LOL !!!! The next track coming is a Trance track and that will have much more repetitive drums and bass as that is almost the accepted standard for Psytrance......coming soon :-)

Great work! wow..lets talk arrangement! What a great delivery of exceptonal sounds here. Lush production qualities send the composition to the top of "the must listen" club. I do agree with comments in regards to the re-occuring drum fill patterns.. ( drummers... lol) But in no way does that take away the interest in this exceptional work... Had it pounding here in the room !! just awsome Peter!

Aptly titled, this is electronic trance being beamed from space. An interesting, spacial melding of sonic possibilities with excellent pacing and some great sythesizer lines. There are way to many same sounding drum fills for my taste, but this is still one heck of a track to be sure.

well, now i can relax. : ) i just had to grab first reviewer spot. I love this track so much that i was scrambling to be first to say THIS IS SUPER in this review colum. I feel like it would be loss to anyone who doesnt hear this journey. Well, what is it that im digging so much ? The sequence of phases, and the clour and movement of those phases, carried by a human inner vibe loving rythm,, adventures unfold in the musical melodic and golden voiced synths- . I AM GLAD THIS TRACK IS LONG !!!! So far it's 8 minutes long and still going. And me,, it wouldnt matter how busy i am,, i dont want to go anywhere while this track gives me myself the way it does. 9.51 in total now. - i was there all the way in bliss. And i've cliked play again. Geesh- that's magnifico- i'll have to have it !! shane

Classic bit of trance, whilst I'm not really into it I can appreciate the effort thats gone into the creation of this work. Liked the effects, but I don't think the piece is as heavy as it could be. Just seems a bit light on the beats. well done

Really nice pads in the beginning ;) I personally don't like trance very much now, but once was a huge fan :D The dark-ambient beginning, combined with the nice beat... just makes me shake my head in the rhythm. I have some notes: 1) you should put some strength in the bassline - it's too quiet for this genre. Try to put some distortion on it, so it could become sharper and harder;) 2) the highs in the beat - the hi-hats and snares - are just too high ;) try to put them back. Great job for the effects :) really nice reverberation and atmospheric touch! Enjoyed it!

Hey Pete!! :-) Very excited to see a new song, from you, already. Ain't this FUN!!! Nice spacey intro and I liked it carried over the beat, very cool. Love the continuing build up, with the drums, at about 2:40 Some really nice "cosmic" synths flying around, keep it flowing. Parts remind me of some of T Dreams movie scores. The song continuously builds very nicely. Synth at 7:20....is a bit WILD!! Loved that intro in there. Man, the intensity continously grows ,as well. Very COOL! Rob

Hi Peter!,Love the enviroment you have created here..starting with the selection of chord structure on the keys...mmm they really do create a feeling of futuristic images..The tone of the guitar real seals the deal for me. Lots of space with the drum programmin too... which was done very well (IMO). Enjoyed Peter! thanks!

I'm glad to see/hear you here, Peter! I know I've mentioned it before, but I really enjoy your guitarwork. This is a really rich, mood-filled track, and the guitar takes it to great heights. The drums are very crisp, powerful, and drive the song so well. The synth sounds add a dreamy quality... the overall effect is outstanding, a represents a great new dimension to your music.
