Rob, sadly you came into the earlier version of mixposure at a time when Guy was busy elsewhere. This is just the tip of the iceberg of Guy's talent. He is without doubt one of the best songwriters/singers/musos I've had the pleasure of hearing. I'm not sure if he's posted his "Crossroads" track here yet. I hadn't actually heard it until a few months ago one of the nexus DJs played it. If Springsteen/Joel or any other "name" songwriter had written and performed that song it would have resurrected their careers. It's an absolute classic. In fact, tomorrow I'm going to check whether Guy has uploaded it here and if so will do a shout out in the Nigel and Brian thread to let everyone know.
Cheers

First I've heard your music and this is a GREAT intriduction for me......Ain't nuthin' like Good ol' Rock n' Roll......and when the piano kicked in, I smiled and kicked in myself. WOW!!! Great Job!! Lots of drive, great vocals.........and yea, I hear the Asbury Park feel too......hehehehehehe....the guitar solo smoked!!!

Have loved this track since I first heard it. As Lex points out, "the sensitive folk master" shows his eclectic skills. Just shows that if you've got all the skills you can cross all sorts of genres. This is classic fun rock with great lyrics, wonderful performances and great production. Great vocal delivery, Guy. Fun, fun, fun.
Cheers

Hi Guy...
Great straight-ahead rock and roll...about that great American pastime...GIRLS...errr...I mean cars! I always hear that Asbury Park vibe in your stuff...and that's a good thing. This is a rocking track. Loved it.
Hugs...Mike (NAV)

Oh, man, it's been way too long, my friend! Guy Michetti, the sensitive folk master, goes electric and shocks fans everywhere! "No Fancy Cars" or folk guitars can make an artist more than he is - and you don't need anything else to make you flat out, hands down, the best around. I've loved this song from the get go, and I'll love it until I see my last checkered flag. It is wonderful to "see" and hear you again!
