Some times you gotta stay off the 401 and take the Kings Highway, drive slower to negotiate those curves. A piece of Peace!Good work!
|
 |
Great tone and melodic playing. Love the vibe thats put forth. I get a Joe Walsh feeling listening to this. Great composition!
|
 |
Sweet and easy and smooth - and so melodic.
Cheers mate, you've pulled out something completely different.

It must have been a good day for playing, because this is beautiful...
Smooth guitar, accompanied with nice synth textures in the background.
Great production work.
Emphyrio :)

RESPECT !......Lovely guitar playing here....melodic and with the touch of pure class ! What a nice tone you've got man, wish it was mine ! Always good to hear melodic players.....pity of the fade out, and the bleak backing (though it's nice) ! This tune is not finished i.m.o. and therefore a demo...with a lot of potential !
Lovely guitar and tone....I'm jealous !

Very cool tune...with a warm easy going guitar melodic, neat keys, -feels most relaxing. Like the steady drum and the bass has some nifty lines that compliment your guitar quite well. Very well thought through composition...really enjoy the guitar tone, Excellent piece on a summery day..anyday will do actually. Great KED.
-Your friend. -Vesa.

Man this is nice!!! super pickage and most tastey ...Excellent post...dave

KED, what an absolute treat to listen to this tranquil, relaxed piece of music. Wonderful tone on your guitar accompanied by a lush, deep and spacious pad. The drum pattern moves the song nicely. Very nice to listen to.
Heinz.

Love the laid-back feel to the rhythm section on this beautiful piece of work. And KED's just slotted into that mood so perfectly. This guitar is really speaking to me. Every note has its own personality. Smooth and fluid with a great sense of melody and harmony. Not a note out of place nor one note too many. Exquisite work. Added to favs
Cheers

ked man this sounds more than sweet.. that snare really does have some snap to it.. must be a half rim shot.. lol.. your palying and tone are just sublime brother.. reminds me of christer in how tasty and melodic it is.. K is that one of your own guitars, the ones you build? if it is you'll be getting some orders soon.. really lovely melodies man.. cheers..

What aperfect title, like Haiku,so much said in so few words.
Very pro sounding,excellent production.
Drums havea real snap to them and the bass is oh so smooth...
Keys, just tantalisingly there to flesh it out.
Lead is superb, all in the flow and the feel.
Not a note wasted, not a misfire, nothing short of the best.
This is class mate.
Greatly enjoyed indeed!!
Nigel.

Bravo!

Hell, I already reviewed this. Must be my alzheimers... Love it, KED! Some of the finest guitarwork there has ever been...
Peace,
Jim

 |
The title is spot on. This is one exhilarating ride -- you never know what's coming around the next corner, only you better hold on tight. Love it!
|
 |
I figured since I was already here, I need to listen to this, too. Some fine guitarwork, but you already know that. A groove to die for, man, and perfect fuse for the guitar to slam up against, bounce off of, and bust out a couple windows and make the neighbors stand out in the yard with a big ole smile on their faces. Out-freakin'-standing!
Another Favorite for me!
Peace,
Jim

Cool guitar man. Nice riffs and solo work.

ya!! thats the kinda track you need when the rubber hits the road. Getting down with this big rocker, big honkin bass and chuggin goodness. The vocal is spot on Ked and that lead is smokin into that change at the end. Could rock all night with this monster...good one.
|
 |
Soundin proper!! love the "feel" of depth comin off those tones...matched ( velocity) nicely to the bass & tubs....awww ya, you can belt some tones out with the KedPiPeS as well....

Whoa! Who the heck needs coffee in the morning to wake up, when there is Hemi-Tone to listen to!! :-) Holy smokers, dude! I felt the superbird fly right through my veins. The guitar performances are just out-of-this-worldish, the overall theme actually reminds me to a TV soundtrack (I don't know which one though). The mix is great, KED. The bass line undermines this speedy track! Well done, my friend!
Heinz.

This is the kinda song that will blow out the trunk of your car if you got your rear speakers turned up with too much bass. They say music makes people drive differently, and in this case, buy a monster truck and go roll over a tail-back: trust me it'll make you feel grrrreeeaaat.Huge sound for even bigger wheels. Go KED!
|
 |
Very VERY powerful groove going on in this track and some psychedelic runs on that fretboard.
sounds like you're hungry!
Excellent playing and feel!
|
 |
How can you go wrong with a new Hemi Tone tune? Well, you can't. This one's got it all: power windows, a big-assed motor roarin', bass that'll rattle those bolts in my neck, and enough smokin' guitar to declare war on every Third World Country with the wrong attitude.
Yeah, I mean every word I said...
Peace,
Jim
|
 |
Some sweeeeeeet.......smokin' guitar..... that bass groove is killar !! Freakin' cool tones and riffs.... I'm no guitar player ...but this is excellent... !! Bam.... I thought my player quit.... lol !! Great work Ked...:-)

I love jams that are pure music and no pop considerations whatsoever.. guitar man music.. brave and heavy.. carries a big stick.. walks softly.. into a more than just abrupt ending.. hope no one was depending.. on a rescue at sea.. dear me.. :-)

Mach 3 guitars revving up the intro into a full throttle-down the wrong side of the freeway-hair standing-pant wetting-break neck-speed limit busting-metal shredding-rubber melting-buttock clenching ride. To hell with Disney Land, drive around with KED for 03.26 with this tune as the ride's theme, best AAA ride you'll get.

Digin this KED,Rip it up!

Not fair! I don't have the other one to compare! lol The drums sound really, really good KED. I got headphones on this time, though-- and it's a grreat listen. I can zero in on those guitar licks-- love the paning on the guitar and the motor sounds-- it's pretty intense with the phones on. Dig the echo to fade ending. A masterpiece-- and loads of fun!

Excellent drive in this one, KED!!! Love it! Go ahead and send it to me!

I was privileged to work with KED on this tune, and to be part of one of his many great music projects.
One of the quickest collabs actually! We just went with the flow...
Thank you for listening and reviewing !
----
Actual conversation:
KED: "Luay..Just PLAY man :)"
Luay: "OKAY :)" (w/song attached)
|

OMG you guys are at the speed of light...this is some mind boggling playing. KED, Luay you just took the house down...most excellent collab and meshing of playing styles.
|
 |
rev it up!! here we go. Thumpin bass, sweet git riffs and 40mph over the limit...actually now we're doin 60mph over the limit. This is like a rock frenzy...dueling leads are spinning in space..wow!! my brain was just jolted out of its cage. unbelievable riffing talent..whoosh the double kick...kicks aaassss

i had the pleasure of getting a sneak preview if this and was absolutely floored. That is some smoking guitar work guys! I agree with Jim on the bass and drums. Blistering man! Outstanding job Luay and Ked. This on is genius!
|
 |
When those sparks fly they really fly. Wonderful platform laid down here with some really thumping bass and drums. Man, that snare's getting one heck of a work out. The lead work is out of this world. Soaring, flying, twisting, turning, heading off in all directions. Sensational work guys.
Cheers

Smokin'..... killar' guitar work.... guys !! What a groove.... awesome bass and drums backing those fantastic guitars.... Exceptional track !!!

Damn, right out of the gate, this one roars! This is some of the heaviest stuff I've heard from you, KED, and Luay, holy @#$% that's some amazing guitar work! And I gotta tell you, the groove that's laid down here is one of the most menacing, nail-driving bass/drum situations I've ever heard on this site. The double-bass could kill a man, I swear it could! If I was holding a trophy for best tune I've heard, I'd be handing it over to you two wildmen right now.
Why's the little thingy say there's "0" reviews, when there's actually 11, and now 12???? Another Mystery of the Universe.
Peace,
Jim
