Henry, I was finally able to tune in to one of your songs. I've heard so much about you already ... Now 'Neptune' is such a pleasure to listen to, wonderful lyrics - the vocal delivery is fantastic! Somehow I got an 'early Bowie' vibe ... perhaps Major Tom's mission was to Neptune? Who knows, eh? Wonderful production, Henry! Cheers Heinz.

Well Dave certainly gave you a beautiful piece to work with Henry... Unusual subject matter, given that traditionaly I suppose odes to the planets have been instrumental. With Holst's suite still amoungst my favs. So it really did make a refreshing change to hear a vocal ode. I am also thinking that Neptune is part of amuch larger work by Dave? It seems an odd planet to "Begin",just seems logicaly to be a part of something larger, however I could be wrong, wouldn't be the first or last time LOL Great vocals as always Henry, also very imagnative lyrics. Reminds me of the wonderful imagination of the earlist sci-fi writers. Excellent. Nigel.

And your lines and voice just move this thing right into planetary bliss my man. Very catchy and easy going....just what i needed. Superb!!!!!!! ~Blake

Henry I love those octave vocals and your voice is perfect for that. And you craft some of the finest melody. Dave set your table with an excellent musical compo and you carried it thru to an awesome conclusion!

I thought you were going into a cover of Topographic Oceans, side 2 in the first lines. When Henry comes in it takes on that unique feel that Henry's vocals offer. Super cool/creative song. Congrat's to you both. Dave Deal

I wonder what Mike is doing right now? love the 5! really sweet job with the percussion! cool ending! you playing guitar? sounds like a real acoustic? Enjoyed! Oh and Mike, if you do happen to read this, I meant right now as when I am typing... not when you are reading (otherwise the answer would be obvious ;) )

Love it when simple relays so well...dropin it down to the "a" and finishing it up with the same note just makes me nod with a smile...like the tense percussion within, really adds a feel of urgency. Henry, your spot on with the delivery....ka-ching What a team you guys make...great to hear em anytime. (hey Mike!! miss your perspective)

I feel a new flavoured genre coming on... Such a nifty rhythm, really infectiously delicious,an altering into several continents of musical influence, European to South American- neat atmosphere created----the percussive sounds has a great emphasizing to Henry's vocals; like the lyrics, good melodic phrasing; nice addition of that keyboard playing, puts me in a caravan of nomads, happily in their carefree life in the moment, uncomplicated, so they "don't let life get them down"...Riding their horses across the desert & along the beach... a clash of expressiveness, comes in often,-very clever artistry. Like the tasteful guitar playing. Most engaging & enjoyable. EXCELLENT!! Really Fab guys. Good chemistry once again. Your friend. -Vesa.

Whoa!!! I hear the "Rush", but this has it's own voice - no doubt about it. The vocals are just awesome: after hearing some of your work with TCP last Saturday, I was just blown away. The whole track is smokin': guitar, bass, drums - all around excellent. Superb work!

Wow, Henry, that's a fine monster rocker, extremly beautiful. As a big fan of different prog bands like Rush and Yes I feel that your style is a fine "best of both worlds combination". Cheers to you and your great band, and let me tell you, that you're quite a brilliant singer too!

Now that I've had a better chance to listen.....I'm hearing quite a bit of Rush influence in the music. Some awesome guitar and bass work. Very solid drumming. And a very difficult canvas to paint your vocal line on too. Cuz, very superbly done I must say. Your vocal and writing expertise really show the high levels at which you work. Very Dynamic right from the start...captured me well. Love the piano, sync'ed in with your great vocal range. I really like the change with the gentle singing including the dtrings working again like the piano so well complimenting your singing. Good orchestral composing...like the high sounding synth keys; melodic with a cascading keys following along with the resounding orchestra. Wonderful. This is well thought through; EXCELLENT piece of artistry. -Great guys. -Vesa.

Your vocals and lyrics work so well together. I always seem to connect with your work at multiple levels. How do you do that so consistently? Tell me....what is it? Excellent songwriting and execution. There is something about this song that feels so good. ~Blake

like this big production sound henry.. your dramatic voice techniques require a big stage my friend.. this has a real huge feel to it and your vocals are the center piece.. I really apprecaite your thoughtful lyrics.. in every song.. this lifts me up.. the music is loosely based on that famous classical progression.. pachalbel? can't quite palce it but you guys have given it a whole new flava.. wonderful piece of music.. cheers..

20 years ago huh? And how contemorary does it still sound? That's the measure of a great piece of composing. In this throw away culture,it SO refreshing to find music that ENDURES and means something for the long run. Songs should stick with one a lifetime, and all too often in the OMD culture they have a shelf life of a day or two, which IMHO is terrible!!!! Fabulous arangement, you and Mike make a great team, you are both in tune with music, way beyond the grasp of so many. Beautiful work guys,it was regal, proud and sounding so young and fresh! Nigel.

Oh, I enjoy this full production and these exciting chords... A bit like Genesis in its early time (your singing, structure) in combination with a more upbeat "Cask of Amontillado" (Parsons), but definitely with the right modern punch, and such a clear and majestic expression. I love the piano, and every little detail here. AWESOME CLIMAX ENDING - GOOSE BUMPS!!!

I have been listening to one or two collabs of yours today Henry:) Damn mate, how do I keep saying things like "Awesome" and they still seem to convey the feelings? By the way,you have a new fan,DJ RS Cain on Nexus,oh yes and another Matty,DJ on same station. I steered them here :) This is dynamite stuff. I have it cranked up in the cans :) Regal.... So perfect in every aspect... I don't know how you write this material Henry but mate, may you LONG continue to do so. It is always such a real treat listening to you do your thing. Superb. Nope,it's no good ~I can't fully express it,but it is without argument IMHO as good as it can possibly get. Nigel.

Hi Henry... I always loved your energy as well as your positivity in this weird sphere we live on! Your keyboard work has always been top shelf in my chiffonier! like that beat.. that's a truckin beat as we used to say.. i hear now in this song that you are a song writer first.. not a jammer or instrumental guy.. the vocal structure is very clear.. a clear and present danger.. to many sectional composing I'm no stranger.. it has a big vocal sound in an excellent mix.. love the grand piano arps.. well song is here a bit of an understatement.. this is epic in structure, breadth and scope.. like the classics of queen and genesis.. I've got to say henry for me you are a composer to keep an ear on.. great to get to know you and your fine music a bit better.. cheers.. :-)

Great track Henry. I love the contrasts you have created here. From the driving main theme to the almost waltz like reflections during the changes. Vocals are alway great, and you have added a twist by making it a riddle as well. The song bird flys on the wind of your vocals perhaps? Excellent song that was a pleasure to listen to.

Wow Henry, truly inspired track in every way. This sounds like a damn perfect song on a scale of, shall we say Devotee? Flawless performance where all instruments are hitting cylinders - and often! An outstanding song, love the synths and B3 like organ. Very solid rhythm section, and song. Dig the complexity and feel of this completely. Wow! Just awesome man. Congrats once again. ~Blake P.S. I have to give you credit for keeping this runaway bus together. Quite a complex piece of music, done very fast, and with an outrageous rhythm track. That keyboard solo sounds so good. I loved the vocals on this song. In all, it is quite a theatrical piece, isn't it. Very big and busy, but it does stay together. Well done.
