Pleasant & laid-back, nice guitars. Have a glimpse of Mark Knopfler somehow even without the voice.

A bit different from your others and falls right in my genre of music. THANKS for sharing this track....a definite DL :-) I will enjoy it while driving, for sure. VERY nice listening and love guitar work throughout....great performances and production. Rob

This is working for me in a big way. Love the effects in this. The delay gives it the "dreamy" vibe. The chunky guitar sounds HUGE, but it doesn't get in the way (not an easy thing to do with this kind of vibe!). The "chopped" playing is very clever and really works well. Fantastic piece dude! Be proud of this one.

reapersg (19 Mar 2008 06:38 PM)
yeah I really dig that intro great guitar work. love the cascading echo into the heavy electric. Real nice thick tone and some tasty playing. This is a great track, appropriately named!
User Image
bri-an (19 Mar 2008 07:41 AM)
ooou nice, very interesting chord progressions start this off..right into what i believe a seamless resolve with the power guitar...it didn't get crazy or flashy..but held it's own through to the outro..kool dreamscape.. dug it!

oou yes. Just love the presence of the guitar work!! the structure is calling out for vocals!! wooooo damn fine work. A little on the short side.. reminded my of the Old face's work...just waiting for Rod Stewart to roll in..lol Great work. you got the idea across very well here! Enjoyed alot!

Where's my ountain dew? Love that really loose stringed sounding slide work on the resonator and there's some heck of some fine picking going on here. Not 100% sure about the drum track, but damn fine piece of music. I can see it being turned into a song, but sits well enough with me as an instrumental.

Hehe, you're making me feel jealous, and my acoustic cry of neglect... Really enjoyed this one too. Nothing in particular I can point out, but it just felt right... like your favorite pair of jeans. (more) Kudos to you.

Damn sweet opening guitar chords. Still having some minor problems with the drum track. There seems to be a little out of synch happening with the guitars in parts. Really nice composition. Like the use of the harmonics. Superb chord progression and use of major 7th chordings. Sweet ending as well.

You've just created a new item for the style list : "acoustic ambient". In France we've got a "soup" or maybe"soap' band, in fact a duet, called Hair and touring around the world with tronics and female overdub voicings... If these guies had more talent and free from an excessive use of tronics, it could look a little like this. BUT your stuff is really great.
User Image
Dazed (12 Mar 2008 07:45 PM)
another great tune. your guitar playing sounds fantastic and the mix just enhances everything. Yeah this will get a lot of plays. Absolutely fantastic!

Nice dreamy sound on the opening guitars. Luscious sound, in fact. I like the chorus echo type effect on them as well. Sounds great in the headphones. Those chromatics are the shizzle, too. I am enjoying this wonderful tune to the max. This is something I could listen to on-end.

Same here-- the DOG drew me in. Haha, and Reaper will be here shortly too. Anyroad, I love the skillful playing on this tune. Laid back, yes, but still want to move with this. I like the slide, and the progression. I have to agree with everything that Stu and Brian just said-- couldn't say it better. Yessir! Gina/ WHP

t may be "Sleeper" but it's a "keeper" as far as I'm concerned. Really classy piece of work. Great melodic and harmonic feel to this track. It's lie back and drink a beer and watch the world go by music. Some damn fine picking going on and I love the "elastic" sound of that slide. Loved it. New fave. Cheers Brian

Being an old "Feat" fan, I had to start here, with the "FEAT" in the title. I LOVE the concept of the "Psychedelic Broom Closet", which brought me here......GREAT track right off. You definitely have a Lowell George influence going on. LOVE the southern funk feel. Nice production and all players are spot on tight. GREAT JOB!! Rob

Hehe, another one... I really like your stuff. I like the swampy nature of it, and the slide gives it just the right amount of 'special sauce' that you stand out from the crowd without falling into the "look at me" crowd. I'm running out of new things to say about your music, but you have won yourself a fan here.
