Very brave music you're making here. Great experimental edge, with some powerful piano work and excellent melodies... love the sax part, just sweeps in and flows...
Peace,

Quite a few things I love here. Its so outside the normal pocket and it kicks ****. THe sax playing is great on everything I have heard so far. I heard the holding on song on Mike-Ks show and I give that one a top honor as well. GREAT JOB. Keep it up.

Strange and intriging. vocals and sax floating through the sound are excellent and hard to second guess. Really enjoyed the originality and inventiveness.

A very fitting tribute to a brilliant mind. Very inventive piece of work. Really spacey sounding vocals. And the sax spots are inspired. Very creative work indeed.

Very creative, unpredictable track. The transition at around 3:05 in particular. I thought it was going to slide into "Little Drummer Boy" :) I really enjoy your use of the sax, almost like an additional vocal.

cool instrumentation and the lazy half speaking vocals remind me of frank zappa.
and interesting arrangement with the slow down at 1.30 building tension through the next section
quite some subtlety here, for example the lowish drone from ? a synth that is there sometimes

Love that sax..OUTSTANDING!!!....and that underlying bass and percussion is haunting. Vox and effects are cool. VERY COOL TRACK, Jim and Lisa!!

Lovely crisp and clear guitar with a cool atmosphere. Most unique sounds. Gotta love that guitar and organ mix. Neat fusion. Fine arranging. You set a mood change very well; this would be cool for a sound track. I feel like I'm in a western. Wonderful Spanish acoustic; and a very neat addition of some electric. Great production.
Most relaxing and mind altering. EXCELLENT. -Your new fan. -Vesa.

Very interesting concept that works. This is an interesting mix of styles and genres. Some very nice guitar licks. And that organ sound fits in just right. The desciption of the track had me expecting something quite eerie, but this was a lovely listen. Really enjoyed it.
Cheers

My goodness, but you guys are versatile. Seems like you can play and sing anything. And Lisa, you sing this type of music beautifully, just as well as the acoustic rock. You manage to put vocal dynamics in it, which is a big plus.
Great tune-- thanks for sharing your work here with us on the MIX

Hi Jim and Lisa...I'm not good with words but I'd like to thank you both for this beautiful piece of music...a sonic adventure...Beautiful poetry both in the music and the lyrics...Lisa's singing gives me goosebumps...very expressive...

nice sounding recording lots of stuff to listen too, nice production also. like the sax and some unusual changes .
|
 |
Interesting piece - very inventive. Great sax work, good to hear soloing not done on a guitar. Some strange brooding arrangements a bit reminiscent of VDGG mabye?

 |
Very interesting song with lots of aural surprises. i.e. that quick slide into major key around 1:30. Lots a well crafted creativity.
