The Fall Of Death...

Hello all!

I just uploaded the opening track off of the "Threshold Of Truth" album.

The song is entitled "The Fall Of Death". This song was inspired by an "unusual" experience I had many years ago, on a Thanksgiving day. I suddenly had a ... well, a vision. The strange thing about this is, I HAD to write down what I was seeing - on a paper towel, as I recall. What I wrote was a poem.

Here it is:

The Fall of Death

Warring circles rushing forth
To cure the hapless innocence.
Handling strong the sails point north
Before this great benevolence.

And anxious cannons bearing west
Do point at one last enemy
Which heretofore did try its best
To end the fledgling sovereignty.

And what of this when through the cold
The beast of white would fair appear.
And on its back this figure bold
Seeks down the raging bloody fear.

This adversary reels and casts
His fearful glance and turning then
Repeats the seeming endless blast
For Time times thousand one and ten.

But wait!  The brave-the mighty son
The one whose beast prepares to fly
Toward gruesome killer, fearful one
With breath of fire, free of sigh.

The beast, it lunges into night
At strict command from he who rides
Upon its back, who raises fright
In kingdom where the dark abides.

The sword that pierces phantoms through,
The arrow which will still the breath
As if from some unknown it flew
And sword sliced deep the face of death.

And death in anger quick to pound
At soldier sent the night to tame
Recoils as steely sword is found
Deep buried in its massive frame.

Again the swift and eager sword
Did find a place to enter deep
Did slash the once unchallenged lord,
The thief of life: Its prison keep.

To everyone at iMusicScene...

Aaaahhh....

What GREAT news to wake up to!

I've had tremendous difficulty dealing with the emotions of the last several days. It was very confusing to me and I was unable to understand why I was feeling like this over people that I don't know "personally". I woke up at 3:00am this morning...and understood, perhaps for the first time, what "personally" really means to me. I play music to express my heart. Dazed: you're right - family. And family is all about the heart.

It is with a heart bursting with joy that I am writing this.

My heart and souls deepest gratitude to all of you - to all of the iMS family - for proving to me, once and for all, that humanity's heart is compelled to march towards its ultimate victory: union. Union, communion, oneness  - of heart and soul.

May all your music reign powerfully within your hearts and continue to feed the hungry hearts of all.

Dazed: if there is *anything* that I can do call me.

Peace be with you...
