I want to come and see you perform sometime. This is a great song! You know I like your backing tracks with the excellent rhythm parts as much as I like your guitar and vocal work. Henry

It's the birthday boy. Love the feel in this track. Lovely momentum. Great vocals and the staccato (there's probably a better word) use of the bass is inspired. Organ is just right and the guitar is superb, although I like the way it's a little behind in the mix in the early stages. Love the build up in the late 2:40s and the increase in passion in the vocals. Wonderful work, birthday boy.

Hey Richard, just stopped by to check out what's new on your site. And there it is: Down all around. Did I ever tell you how much I admire your vocal performances? All your songs you write seem to be 'taylored' for your voice. Down all around is no exception. I just love the beat and its latino vibe it creates. Wonderful, just wonderful. The ending leaves a great impression, for sure. Heinz.

WTC7, a 47 story building came down that same day. It was not hit by a plane. This fact has escaped many people. Research it folks. This is a great song for sure my man! Love the lyrics, the cascading backup singing, and stinging lead guitar work. Always love your bass lines/playing. The vocal line and details you've worked into this piece are superb Richard. VERY VERY solid....love it!!! ~Blake

The excitment that is present in all your toons is awsome to listen too...the musicianship ( arrangement is supurb). It's the vocal work that really stands out for me, i can hear the incredable work within the layers of harmonies..the level of excitment is matched perfectly. bravo Kephas bravo.

Starts on a dime and carries a real nice rhythmic energy feel with strong changes. Committed strong raw vocals and nice phasing that fits the songs vibe very well. Good production too.. all the instruments are well represented and that themed lead guitar toward the end is icing on the cake. Early Santana comes to mind and that's good stuff in my book. Nice work!

Hi Richard... I've totally given up on trying to figure out your time signatures...but there's no doubt that you're comforatble with 'em. This song flowed along very nicely. Great vocals, lyrics, and percussion...as always. Nice organ pads. A full three minutes before that great guitar kicks in...you just keep showing your versatility. Great stuff here! YEAH! Love the perussion,- that cool motion you have here makes me sway. Vibrant vocals cry out the lyrics of an important message. Good acoustic guitar & some kool keys in the backup. This cries out for descency in our chaotic world. The guitar shines so well coming in and out for awhile, then takes over the vocals to sizzle the message further from the soul, that shapes your vision. Good harmonies. A most superb TUNE. Fine bass thereby the way & that organ is a perfct addition in this atmosphere. Such a Great production, Kephas. -Your friend. -Vesa.

Very nice understated groove to this one Kephas. Soulful and expressed in an almost reggae feel to it, and I'm digging that Hammond-sound in there. Vocals are distinct and well-defined in the mix, but then again, the whole mastering job is great man. Definitely a great listen upon arising. Peace, Tsargoth
