Where I am - it is a great emotional song with a top instrumentation and very good vocals. I like your style very much. I want to play this track on Thursday in my radio-show. Your recording is glassclear. My compliment to this work.

Patience, emotion. Great specimen Mike!! A good lesson here for songwriting. The use of emotive attack, and then the release is just damn superb. Truly a short masterpiece complete with everything, including the vox/lyrics/performance. Top notch man! Love it. ~Blake

This is a good tune, builds up nicely and got good dynamics. Voice fits song like hand in glove. Enjoyed listening to it. Regards

Makes me so happy to meet you again Mike - you belong to my favorte vocalists in the indie music scene and I've missed you since MXP's departure. "Where I Am" is just another rock monster with feeling, energy and passion and most creative structure, transitions and sound design! WOW!

Like the tune Mike. Nice use of instruments. The guitars and piano work well but the drums are not working for me. This tune is pretty powerful and the drums to me should be a focal point. They kind of sit back in the mix. It might just be me though :)

Wow, what an ambitious piece this is. You're obvioulsy someone not afraid to step out on the ledge and take some risks with your songs. There is a lot of stuff going on in here, and it's a very complex song, but .... it works. All the pieces fit. It is one of those songs you want to keep revisiting because you know you'll find something you didn't catch the first or second or sixth time you heard it. Very nice -- loved the arrangement, the contrast of sounds -- the vocals and choir bits, driving guitars, sound effects. Very good.

Mike....very solid stuff with those great nook & crannies and wholesale changes. Wonderful performance with attention to detail, so necessary in prog. Not easy stuff and I applaude your writing creativity. Love that piano intro and ensuing change to 80s rockish sound. All is good here! ~Blake

Mike, this is an EXCELLENT track....I was thinking a little Dream Theater, at first, but you took this beyond with your dynamic changes. Super song structure.......and agreed! The orchestration is STUNNING!! LOVED IT! Rob

Man, I never know what to expect when I hear an artist for the first time. Heavy rock, great voice, and then after the bass break ... wham. Then you threw some changes at me ... another wham! Things are getting even better ... and that ending! Man I love the orchestration at the end.

Hello Mike ... like always sone days before my show starts I am searching for good music and I am nearly speechless while listening Wandering. It is an outstanding peace of music and I am wonder why this song only has 4 reviews??? I cannot understand it. It is perfect, variously and the recording is more than first class. You have used some different instruments. The atmosphere in this track is out-out-outstanding. I am so happy that I have clicked on this one although I knew that the other songs of yours are also great. But often I have not enough time for listening. I would like to play this song on Thursday and it will be a pleasure to play this track in my show. Not often I write it: THANKS for sharing this great track.

Special darkness of the intro, this ballad is great for goose bumps, and it's a pleasure to listen to your families' voices too. I also like the "saxophone solo" and all the little ideas which make another indie pearl. (Btw: your reversed vocals are the HAMMER!!!) Happy Easter, Pascal

I really like your vocal and lyric style! You make songwriting sound easy. It makes me think of the old 80's band The Cars for some reason, great production. Darren

Hey Mike! Guitar work sounds great and I really like the build up on the chorus. Vocals are delivered with a lot of passion. Lyrics have a nice hook in the chorus. Good tune and played well!
