Mist

Music/Lyrics by Mike Lynn

Moving somewhere along down the line, try to make up for the lost time

In headaches and worries, vaguely life leaks away

Moving somewhere along down the line, living on borrowed time

Sublimary world I once knew, remains a nightmare in my mind

Rambling on unfamiliar roads, passionless lights swarthy snow

Join the chorus of discontent, feelings enfold'd

Now from my window sill I watch the night

Church clock's yellow face and the dim peer light

Dead silence buzzles in my ears

This world chokes me under roots of night

Hammer us between the mirrored lights

Implanted the fear in my mind

There were prizes we could never compete

Rigid promises fractured in our conceit

Perhaps just some of life's ironies.

Moving somewhere along down the line

Try to make up for the lost time

In headaches and worries, vaguely life leaks away
