I love this song nice groove to it. I agree with Dicarlo about the backing vocals. I only have one thing to add is that the kick drum is abit buried in the mix try cutting about 150 hz off the bass guitar to bring out the kick drum then you will be able to pump the mix even more Great job in all

You guys have it together. Great performance of a really well written song. The vocals and backing vocals kind of get in my psyche and resonate there along with that excellent guitar.

Excellent recording and the performances are tight! I like the memorable chorus, a hook is not always something you hear in a lot of hard rock songs. Great playing guys and especially great tone and riffing on the bass Tsargoth! Farrell

DICARLO PRODUCTIONS (19 Jan 2008 10:56 AM)
YEAH, I REMEMBER REVIEWING THIS ONE BEFORE. ONE OF MY FAVOURITE PYRAMIS TRACKS. :) BIG AND HAUNTING SOUNDING. REMINDS ME A BIT LOF "LINKIN PARK" AT TIMES. THATīS A COMPLIMENT, BECAUSE LOVE LINKIN PARK. :) YOU GUYS SOUND TIGHT. I KNOW THAT THIS IS ONLY A DEMO, BUT IT SOUNDS QUITE GOOD. THEY ONLY THING THAT COULD BE A BIT TIGHTER IN MY OPINION IS THE BACKGROUND VOCALS, THEY SHOULD BE TIGHTER IN HARMONY WITH MORE VOICES. MAKE THEM BIG, SMOOTH WITH TIGHT HARMONIES. THEY ONLY THING THAT COULD MAKE THIS SOUND ANY BIGGER, WOULD BE IF I MASTERED IT. :) GREAT TRACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :) PEACE, D

hey there, love the sound of this, guitars sound nice and fat . Sounds like a great mix of genres to my ear from straight up rock to a hardcore sound like Biohazard. Also the singer sounds a bit like early Anselmo in parts (this is a compliment) . Great rocker of a tune ....and hey its got bell !!!!!

Vesa (04 Jan 2008 03:56 PM)
Hey amigos; Like the chord progression at the long start. Darn good vocals. Yep. great rockin' music; (well let me explain something; I first thank you for your listen to 'Voyage' (collab.) 'Lateral' in my own comment about some of my music, collab. or not; simply meant -sounds overlapping; not all straight ahead; kind of a cross-over, put on the breaks at the crossroads once in a while and I could write a thesis (lol) Love your rock style. Tunnels' is a fave tune now; it rocks most tastefully. I take it all as is and accept any type of opinions with reflection, not reaction. A healthy thing to do since it's just great that there is alot of different realms of music. A good philosophy to strart this great year. Keep on keepin on. All the best this year with much success. Your friend. -Vesa -Peace & tranquility.

Damn you guys are good at this style, great tempo in this one. Vocals are really delivered in a big rough way - perfect for this style- Guitar and bass are awesomely tight and the drums heavy and hard. This'll getcha goin.

Yeah, very solid performance... You guys have a good band sound.... Very tight through the rhythms and changes... Vocalist does a grand job out front, and must also mention bass and drums, really tight together, with some very nice touches on bass. Yep,has a classic rock/metal feel to it,also feels live, which in my book is always a good sign. Means the folks playing it ARE playing it. Enjoyable listen guys. Nigel.

Nice work guys. Alot of these sites are sadly lacking in quality and talent in the genre known as Hard Rock. I'm surprised and glad to see that's certainly not the case on this site. If all bands in the Hard Rock genre were held to the standards you guys attain, then a lot of them would not be allowed to upload their material. Excellent song, musicianship, and an all-out balls-to-the-walls rocker !!!!! 5-star for sure.

I loooove this sinister guitar. Makes me shiver =D. What I really like is that the vocals are louder than that what I've heard in "Tunnels" and "Walking The Street"!. The sudden ending was unexpected but fits the whole song. Good job, again! Alex

Most excellent hard rock. I love the darkness and the tensions installed in this tune ... The vocals are outstanding for a hard rock song and are delivering all the intensity that the lyrics are requiring. Great dybamics as well ... Perfect recoding and very PRO level production. Great listen guys ! Much respect and admiration. Alexis

Love the dark sound ... evil and nasty! Your mix is aways so hot ... don't know how you get your levels up there? You guys always seem to know how to make the most out of a hook! Great job.

Yeah, good stuff guys... Ultra heavy tone on the guitars, and a nice backing from the bass as well. Also have to note your drummer, always on the money. Very good vocals, but I guess it is the whole that matters, and it comes across as a very solid rock song indeed. I would imagine a very bright 2008 and for you guys. Most enjoyable. Nigel.

Cool ,, heavy orchestration. again,, COOL HEAVY ORCHESTRATION. The Bass really fits the bill for me-- it's akin in personality to something big in the room that wants to eat you. -- that's how i've always characterised this aspect of bASS GUITAR IN PAST BANDS ETC. -- cheers. I've listened to this and other tracks of pyramis lots of times- and you tend to dicover more that you don't realise on the first pass only. rock on

Last but not forgotten! I agree with all comments above (or below)... While metal rock is not my thing, mainly because I am a soloist one-man-band, and find very difficult to reach such energy pinnacle power, good rock bands have, I have to say this recording is a master piece in the genre. Well done, executed, sung, mixed and mastered. One thing is missing in this page.................................... More PYRAMIS music!.....................................................................

Man you guys are tight as hell. Hypnotic rhythm line. For some reason I keep thinking this song is missing a blistering guitar solo or some little riffs here and there to change it up a bit. I give your vocalist props. The guy has definitely got a great rock voice.

What can I say that Master Bass left unsaid ? He adressed the lyrical side of this song;I would like to address the visceral side of it. The painful emotions created by the build and release of tension and dynamics creates a ride of dark emotions that entrap the listener and make them listen, while making them slightly uneasy at the same time. Isn't that the thrust of good rock music,to make people uncomfortable enough to start thinking for themselves ? Nice work, and bass dude is wicked nasty ! SH

Struggle: That word pretty much sums up and epitomizes the human condition.Life is a constant struggle, due in large part to the sense of guilt that all main-stream religions try to impart upon the masses. Struggle: We're struggling against mind-numbing brain-washing techniques from the time our education starts until we die.The government wants the masses indoctrinated and dumbed-down so they won't ask questions about how their government is using them as slaves for the system,or even think for themselves, for that matter. The nicely dark, dreary mood captures the atmosphere of paranoia and distrust that these mind-control techniques ultimately bring out in the chosen few who thro off the shackles of the system and learn to think for themselves. Another 5-star tune !

lovin the intro, yeah baby this breaks into a coooool rifff and the vocals, like Rainbow, sound excellent. The riff carries the music , so tight and punchy. Great break around 2:40 then it kicks in again. another excellent hard rock tune.

cool,,, it's a boiling track. Vocals sound pro. I always like to listen out for the Bass in Pyramis work, as the Bass is our very own Tsargoth. Thank you Tsar for your feedback on my tracks. In walking the Streets, The instrumental break that comes in at around 2:40,, i listened close ,, and it's nice and tight. Guitar tone is nice and pleasant throughout. Rock it PYRAMIS !!!

Back for another listen :) Classic rock top to bottom. One of your best this I think... Great pace to it,and it reallty does swagger with defiance. I can well imagine these songs given the full studio treatment, you guys would be a force to be reckoned with. There is more feel and energy in this track than in most bands who ahve "Made it" What's more, you guys are real, you play and work like a band, appretaship served on the frontlines of gigs. A most enjoyable morning wake up song :) Nigel.

Good high energy rocker about what people call "justice",which is really karma balancing out debts. The breakdown parts are tight and well played.Awesome rhythm section, drummer is tight and the bassist is sick ! Excellent point and counterpoint between drums and bass. Nice work, again. SH

Hey, TP! Good to hear you around these parts. This is the sound that's going to take Pyramis up the charts - very good hard rock with very good lyrics. All of the playing is pro level, and the vocals are right up there too. Won't take long for the crowd to catch on.
