Real nice emotional playing. Food for thought rather than criticism: I liked the compressed, overdriven and mid-heavy tone choice but the pedal (?) seems to be flattening out some of the dynamics of the performance... the emotion ends up being conveyed by melody almost alone. Also: my guitar-guy prejudices wish the guitar was a bit more up front in the mix (maybe a little pre-delay on the reverb so you could keep the tail?) -- the piano/leslie is great, but mixed this strong with the leslie panning warble it's a little like a hand waving in front of my face while I'm trying to let the guitar carry me.

It's a rainy cold morning here,the windows are all misted over,and somehow,this becomes the soundtrack. The lead feels very.....plugged and played... Like you sat down and just said to yourself,I am just going to play it like it is,no filters between my emotion and the guitar,just let it pour out. Interesting space in this one, withe instruments way up on the stage, as I stand with my back to the bar. Then comes the spoken verse, hat low over the eyes, chair leaned back on two legs against the wall. Yep, it all works here.

Class and smoothe... You guys make it all seem so very effortless. Late night blues with a bag full of atmosphere. The spoken part was cool,had me thinking of all those great black and white Private eye movies with Sam Spade etcetera. Ultra tasteful guitar and arangement.
