I really enjoyed this one....a lot of times I find the blues very predictable....but not here...surprises around every corner....I'll be back for more..

Very nice Pete....sorry it's taken awhile to get a review...just got a new computer and software and will be doing new stuff soon....I just love the way you did this song. Tasteful and with a lot of choice guitar licks.Keyboards are well done. Overall a truely inspirational song. You can feel the vibe here and it comes from deep within...I like all of your work and this is truly a gem.....

If that piano got any softer and melodic, I would have melted thru the bed.......suddenly I did....sheeeeeesh! Your guitar playing is "like butter".......slick, smooth, tasteful....Your dedication is AWESOME and SO MUCH APPRECIATED. Oh yea, I loved the bass lines and the whole overall theme of the song. THANK YOU, SO MUCH!!!!

Yea Peter....very nice playing....nice keyboard and guitar work...lotas feeling in your playing....love it....Bud

Real nice emotional playing. Food for thought rather than criticism: I liked the compressed, overdriven and mid-heavy tone choice but the pedal (?) seems to be flattening out some of the dynamics of the performance... the emotion ends up being conveyed by melody almost alone. Also: my guitar-guy prejudices wish the guitar was a bit more up front in the mix (maybe a little pre-delay on the reverb so you could keep the tail?) -- the piano/leslie is great, but mixed this strong with the leslie panning warble it's a little like a hand waving in front of my face while I'm trying to let the guitar carry me.

Lovely sound on the lead gtr. enjoyed.

Nice playing! The electric piano provides the perfect backdrop for your fretboard work! Nicely done!

Peter - This is a beautiful song. You play with such sensitivity and emotion and your tone compliments the emotion. Very Nice Work.

 |
Smooth, peter, just wonderful. That's the kind of blues that could make an onion cry!
|
 |
Man what a sweet guitar tone on this. It has such a sweet tone and just drifty throughout the whole tune. I love the Keys in the background tracks. THis has a sweet feel all over. Great work and nice overall mix

 |
Heard this last night...very smooth..very nice playing..you sure know how to carry it through...manOman. this is tasty stuff!!
Enjoyed very much Peter!!

 |
Fantastic playing! Really on the mark with the phrasing and note selection.
Now, I know you've told me that you improvise most of your work, but this one doesn't sound improvised at all. That is a really cool thing to accomplish when you're flying by the seat of your pants!
Standing-O! Well done!

Hi Pete
Oooh - nice work. I'm getting some Santana vibes from you. Cool playing
Rob

Fantastic! I love how the keyboard and guitar just float over the bass and drums. I agree, don't change it too much.
|
 |
Wow man, that's some serious guitar tone you got happening here ! Nice, thick, smooth as glass,
almost Santana-ish in places, but with maybe a little more depth.Backing track is thicker than theives, excellent mix. Glad I finally found time to listen to this one. A fave for sure.
Peace,
Tsargoth

Super smooth piece of music. Excellent balance throughout that lets that gorgeous guitar tone just ring out. Sensational feel to the playing. Love the way you wring the melody out and go for feel and phrasing. The electric piano is just right as are the bass and drums. Having found out how to collect favourites I'm putting this in there. Great work Peter.
Cheers

Sigh...........
Beautiful.........
Man I could justs it and listen and not write a word.
This song is emotion packed class top to bottom.
It's a rainy cold morning here, the windows are all misted over, and somehow, this becomes the soundtrack.
The lead feels very.....plugged and played...
Like you sat down and just said to yourself,I am just going to play it like it is,no filters between my emotion and the guitar, just let it pour out.
Superbly played,I could listen to an album's worth of this any day!
Beautiful.
Nigel.

Very nice my blues pickin' friend. The kind of thing you can ease back into a sofa, dim the lights and drift with. Very tasty licks on your guitar.
|
 |
fantasic playing, your really got the feel for the blues, great expression and emotion in your playing, bravo!
|
 |
Guitar was great on this, keys a tad to loud, and I got dizzy too from them..lol.. overall great playing and for a "throw together mix" ... you threw it well.

ahhhh, silky smooth...In a very positive way this reminds me of an old friend`s style..I like the ease of it, the way it just glides through my phones effortlessly making me want more..
Very cool...and a real pleasure to listen to..
Luv Mags xx :-) This hopefully will be posted as a review, though it`s saying "save comment" hummm...

oh yeah the keyboard and the lead guitar are a great combination here , The beautiful chorus is almost jazz like , the smoothest most expressive lead I have heard in a while , this is great the so called rough spots just give it individuality . EXCELLENT , cheers !
|
 |
you call it a rough draft but I'm hearing some polished blues on that fretboard. Just dont change it too much Peter.
