Hi-- what a headline for a blog aye- well- i'm speaking seriously - but in metaphor. The sparks and fires i refer to , that IMS is powering- are sparks and fires in the body of music.

I refer to many great songs , recordings and collaborations that have sprung to life and continue to spring to life through heartbeat of IMS OMD. So many musicians are being motivated and inspired and powered in their creations by this website.

I say this with authority because i speak from direct personal experience.

As a music artist, i have found unfortunately, that almost NOBODY, is hearing my music. The only place, right now where any body actually listens to one of my songs, is IMS, okay , with a few exceptions , like a few people who visit my myspace page etc. But IMS is really the only substantial place where a few people listen to my creation.

Furthermore, people here have greatly inspired and helped me. I really want to name those of you who have inspired me-

Recently , Gary Carciello gave me a few observations on how i could improve my work- and wow, so helpful. My new song, NO MAN IS AN ISLAND, is a magnificent really awesome track and it has benefited directly from Gary's tips. A while back, Rapster give me a link for a website where he thought i could do something as a singer, and ,, i've got a few hundred euro's in my pay pal account that is all from singing jobs i got there. -- it's impossible to name all of you who help me, but let me have a little go,, not in order of importance,, i'll just fire away:::: Margot, Michael Styron ( my lead guitarist in The DEEP), Wherewolf, Grumpy Player (Don), Wild Honey Pie, Serious Music (Inge), Main Pie, i already said Rapster , and a huge hug to Gary Carciello , Rob Grant, DAZED !!!! how could i forget Dazed,,, Terentek- Nigel Potter (what amazing artist) ,SELF TORT, Lex Zaleta, Sly, Tsargoth - PYRAMIS, Paul Sylvain (Bluespkr) , Reapersg, TCP, Markyone, KB Bren, Gabriel, Bri-an, Mystsongs, ROBBO1, Doc C, and you know, im really diggin a pit for myself here, because it's not going to be easy to avoid forgetting accidentally someone.. - ,, if i didnt list you here, bear with me please- in the point im trying to make.

AND WHAT IS MY POINT !!! - well, im not sure ,, so let me use this TO ANNOUNCE A DELIGHTFUL NEW TRACK. The title is: NO MAN IS AN ISLAND. This track , is largely , the fruit of IMS' existence. This new track of mine, makes me feel excited and satisfied that i have finally broken through some barriers and created a composition of music and lyrical body, that delivers itself to the hearer as a living entity- with the right to be rememberd and felt.

Mike Kohlgraf , has invited me to provide material for his Center Stage feature on Saturday. It is my delight and pleasure to provide Mike with a pre-final Master of the new track- thus it may be that on his show, will be the very first unveiling of NO MAN IS AN ISLAND. Okay, i guess im just hypin up here. but the song isnt bad,, i think,, well,, maybe its just new and thats why i'm excited. yeah, i guess that happens with every song. when it first comes alive im hoppin excited thinkin its the best thing i ever did- so,, what will it be with NO MAN IS AN ISLAND, another imagined - but not real sussess ?? ,, or have i really started to learn how to create a good track ,, ??? -- Tune in to Mike Kohlgrak on IMS Saturday Night Rocks,, and find out !!! yeah!!!,,, Shane has left the Building .

A few of my beloved friends here on IMS have been telling me that they cannot download my tracks. !!  even though i set these as freely downloadable.

I've tested it and for me, they download just fine.  If any body else has tried to download my tracks and finds it not working, feel free to comment here- as i am trying to get to the bottom of this.

One suspicion,  is my naming system for the mp3's i post here, i put my email address in the name, with the @ symbol.  Could that be causing a download difficulty for some puters ??

The new track i've posted, A GAME,   has been named without using my email address,,, so ,, try it, and let me know if A GAME downloads ok while others do not.

Have a listen to A GAME-  its my newly posted bundle of angst-  and if somebody listens, i might feel better LOLOLOLOLOLO  LOLOLOL. : )
