Really nice composition with a great melodic line that drew me in from the start. Vocals are outstanding over the lush strings! All the prog elements are there with some nice chord changes to keep things interesting.
Enjoyed this one for sure!

Excellent writing, arrangement and producttion. The vocals sound perfect to me and the lush strings fill the soundscape.

A huge production... Love the vocals and acoustic work, sprinkled with orchestrations and piano. You've put this one together with loving care. The melodies are sublime. When I hear something like this, it falls under the category of "Music I Wish I'd Made"... Outstanding!
Peace,
Jim

Hi
Orchestration is splendid I love the overall composition the violin tones are great .... Did it need a distortion right from the second frame ????? Not that it was not okay I believe it can do better without it because the composition is so capitvating and orchestra/ Violins /guitars are all very very tite. Great work I loved it . I havent heard the earlier version but I believe that too will be great as the song sounded a great composition.

Okay you guys--playin' tricks on me here. I liked the first version, but no doubt there's some improvement, since you just put it back up. The synth work give this a big concert sound. Vocals are , as always, clear and smooth. Yes, I do hear a bit more clarity of things here, and the keys really stand out. Not sure what you did to change it, but it is well done. I love your stuff, Soundwell.

NICE INTRO! Great setup to some great vocals! Love your harmonies and balance. Nothing wrong with the 70's vibe ... since that was when most of the great songs were written ... hehehehe!
Class ... that's the word I would use to describe this!

like the vocals on this tune as well as that clean guitar on the left side. This kind of has a late 60's early 70's vibe to it. Very well done!

Ohhh wow, wow...Now this is a fantastic vocal performance...Has a wonderfully nostalgic 70`s vibe, possibly even a beatles sound tucked in there...Sunny days and hippy ways...Great memories this one brings forth...A brilliant, pro sounding recording I`d say..Instruments are right on the money...Thoroughly enjoyed this..

This is a wonderfull song. I love the harmonic voices.
Good bass and drumplay.
This song has a '70s feel for me, witch is good.
The lyricks are beautifull written.
The keyboards are uplifting the song to a higher level.
This is all togheter very well done. Good production work.
I can only confirm what Gina allready said: playded till perfection.

Thanks.
The main improvements were down to a technique I've only just started learning - called complementary EQ.
I'm sure there's a lot more I need to learn yet - but as far as this song and Seven Sisters is concerned, that's it!! No more tweaking - time to write something new..
Thanks you again for your comments, they're really appreciated.

Reviewing this for the second time... Well, I got the gist of the song the first time-- and it's really good. Your sound improvements do seem to come forth, however, the song is the song-- and I personally was able to tell how good it was, even through what you didn't like about it. I pick up the harmony layers the most in this, and it does sound super!
The music is played to perfection, and all put together... it's ALL GOOD!

I respect Picasso's work so much and my eyes instantly caught the picture of Guernica attached to your song!
A lovely interpretation of a most sad moment in time.

clicked on this one because i love the painting... :)
this is beautiful..!! it really moves along, and there is enough to listen to here to keep me interested throughout... some of the changes are surprising.. but they are (to my mind) perfectly fitting with the theme of the tune.
i think it kinda tells a story of war and battles and stuff. who won..? ha ha.
nice stuff..!! thanks

Darn!!! Not AT ALL sure, how I missed this song. VERY NICE!!! LOVED the strings......you REALLY have my taste pegged :-) Super progressions and theme. The synth is realy nice and eerie...I like that. The 2:39 guitar tone is my fave....hehehehehehe. Nice theme riff going on and the bass line is very cool. I am really enjoying the different directions you're taking the song....this organ section is very nice. AWESOME theme building started at 6:00 I love this kind of theme building, I find it pretty emotional. Very interesting and enjoyable listen.

What's not to like in an easy going, pleasant sounding piece like this? Guitar, orchestration and some other well placed bits and bobs all add up to a nice, tight arrangement

Like the simplicity of this piece a whole lot...The kind of thing that I`d find a pleasure to sing to...

Like the track, sounds great. Some really good parts in this work.
I do have to agree with KOR,but I think the tedium sets in well before 5 minutes.Needs something in there to really make the changes and sections stand apart but still flow.Like maybe some soaring lead guitar sprinkled in.
Peace,
Tsargoth

For the most part I like what you've done. I love the track but after the 5:00 mark it seemed a bit tedious. That's just me but there's some really nice stuff here.

Haven't seen you guys around for awhile, but I was thinking of you today. Then up popped your picture on the MIX. so then I popped in on YOU!! This is an example of really good sonwriting, and the vocals, especially the layering, are very effective. Smooth and lovely vocals, too, they are! Love the changes in the music, also. Great job!

Wow! what a great co-writing team you are.
This is another exciting, powerful, innovative track especially near the end.
It's not often we hear harmonies with different lyrics intermigling like this. Very clever stuff indeed....twenty out of ten from me!

Love the sense of space in this song and how Lyn's vocals just float out there. Wonderful use of harmony throughout. Great bass and guitar tones including acoustic (was that a 12er?). Really intelligent song design and wonderful playing/production. A fantastic vocal extravaganza at the end. WOW....you two are wonderful...and a really pleasurable brand of prog!! So glad you're here!! Peace ~Blake

Very proper!... like the songwriting here. The progressions are kool. and are musically powerful to hold ones interest throughout...nice changes (bridge) back to head was done well. Vocals remind me of (the band "garbage"...Is it Shirley Mansion? ..yes i believe so... KOOL.
A very nice presentation indeed!

I reviewed this one, too-- and I don't know where the hell it went.
Okay-- this is a jumpin' little toon-- really like this stuff. Your vocals are addictive, in a very cool way. This music is very exciting to me.
I'll definitely be back-- you've piqued MY interest.

Thanks man! will check yours out as soon as I can!

Cool vocal harmony right from the jump. I like everything about this song but the little accent crash cymbal in the left chan.
EVERYthing else is slick, clean, tight and well played. I like the way the vocal changes - both in effects and mix placement. Cool.

KOR is right...Lyn definitely sounds close to The Cranberries vocalist. Spectacular song with great progressions and a very epic feel about it. Instrumentation and sonic architecture just works brilliantly. Another really well conceived big sonic progscape that are so much fun to listen to. Brilliant....both of you!! ~Blake
