Great concept in this, I dig the cross section of styles, hard driving rock, melodic lead, effected vox and of course the phone is ringing..lol. All comes together to shape this cool track...original stuff man...

I dig the jethro tull flute sounds in there.. and i love the "this is the future" line.. that's a raunchy bass sound bro.. nice heavy beat.. good stuff bro..

I have to tell you...William, this is my favorite song! period! When I first heard it on Ras's SSTM show I was blown away...the beat incessant and driving and those vocals are killer. Guitar tone and right hand technique...perfect. This may be one of my all time favs! Gotta DL it!

Heard this yesterday on RS Cain's show and instantly fell in love with it. Love the crunching hard chording and the staccato feel. Vocals exceptional. In fact there's nothing I don't like about this track. Cracking bass runs. The instrumental section is a delight with that crunching guitar competing with the sweet sounding flute like sounds. Even those damn ring tones that make me head for the phone each time I hear them are great. A killer track and a new fav Cheers Brian

TNW-- you are such a unique song writer and musician. This toon is so cool-- love all the effects and that bass beat, and the way you're punishing that guitar. You have a great sound that's all your own-- such a free spirit! You're very inspiring, and this music is habit-forming, friend. Gina

this track grabs ya with raw interest and some nice changes drive it on through the goal posts....love how the flute contrasts with the grunge guitar... vocal effects are always a plus for me!

Great insistent beat with the drums, bass and guitar. Impossible not to nod your head and tap your foot to that. Vocal processing works well for you. It's your distinctive sound. Nice solos. Excellent song.

This world is typically unknown to me, but the exploration is quite the thrill. Production is top-notch; what are you using? Vocal delivery is sweet, though I might scale back the reverb a bit-- a voice this dynamic shouldn't be hidden by the effects. Quite the journey.

Damn cool into, nice morphing on the sires :) This a veratable feast of sound and rhythms... That section of house beats against the blues guitar, piano and voice... Damn, somehow that all worked perfectly. I get the feeling you can pretty much write in whatever style you choose do and do it to a VERY high standard. The track actualy ends up as though some dj was cutting two songs into each... I remember a while back there were several VS songs thatc ame out,and none of them did it as well as this piece. Very much enjoyed. Nigel.

I heard this last night at NEXUS and was pretty much blown away. This is a SUPER CREATIVE piece of music and sure fits the title. MAN!! William, not only do you "croon", but write some WILD music. The vox reminded me a little of Bowie and someone else......it's killing me to remember who. Anyway...EXCELLENT! A DEF DL and THANKS for that. :-) Rob

Nice track....this is very progrock. Got touches of later Pink Floyd about about it but is definitely unique and creative.Good variation and style on the guitars and your vocals are good too. Big string arrangements and a huge upfront production make this track really powerful. An excellent song too.

Beautiful song, very interesting and perfectly developed... Sounds not so new but the global mood is very very good. Guitars and synths make an impressive work, very enjoyable. Tha voice sounds good, sometimes reminds me of David Gilmour even for the global song's "style". Nice production and general mix. Well, enjoyed for sure! Cheers, Corrado :)

william this is fantastic. The opening guitar playing is beyond good. I could easily hear the scorps using that to open up a song before it kicks in. Stellar! This is just a great tune. Let me ask you. Were to vocals done that way for effect or were you trying to mask your vocals? Just curious because your vocals sound good. I am really digging this track. The keys, guitar work everything. Seriously this surprised the hell out of me.

Yesterday I was in the Nexus-Radio-Show and I have listened This Velvet Moon. I was so enthusiastic because this track is so so so fantastic. I asked Wizard Sleeve: Who is "That never was", I have never heard this bandname. And it was so crazy that you also on IMS like me. Now I would like to ask you if I could play this song in my radio-show in Germany next Thursday?? You have not free for download. If you are agree, please send me the MP3 to izp@serious-music.net. It would be great. Best wishes and my great compliment to your work. Serious-Music

I am suprised I haven't reviewed this!! This is now an internet radio classic IMHO. The vocals are superb, the whole gothic atmosphere is just top notch as far as I am concerned. Huge great wall of grining sound, overlapping screaming lead,a thunderous rage just pouring out. All the while those vocals cut right through. Excellent lyrics. Standing ovation mate, this is a classic. Nigel.

This toon is working....cause i find myself hummin it during the day....lol...(Thank NEXUS radio for that)...the presentation and delivery of lyrics (which are great IMO) just keep me intrigued!!, Thats what good toons do!, this one just does it for me. There's a feeling that is captured...an errie- haunting-groove that paints many a picture and is hieghtened further with the mood set by the instramentation. What gernre would this be classed in???....for me, I'd say.... "great stuff that should be heard by many". Everything about his toon is kool. Youv'e done very well, William. Excelllent work!.

Ooh,nice chrous tone :) BUT!... The star is the vocal without any doubt!! EXCELLENT vocal William, from the brooding, introspective early verse, lifting the octive up to add the edge. GREAT title as well!! REALLY enjoyed this one mate. You said in a review you left for me,that you hoped your music ended up like mine when "It grew up" Seems to me it has grown up,AND,what is always important for me as the listener,is that what I listen to has something to say,and says it in it's own, true, and unique way,and that you accomplish easily mate. Excellent. Nigel.
