Biography I play jazz organ, piano and jazz guitar. Thank You for stopping by! My music is aimless and unexpecting nothing. It's only here for those interested in listening to what I have to offer. Nothing more, no ego trips, no expectations and no other motives. Jazz is my passion, has been all my life and will be until the day I die! Jazz has been a part of my life since I was 7 years old. I first heard it on the radio living in Finland about 60 miles from the arctic circle after being forbidden to listen to jazz by my teacher. I was always a rebel and was curious in finding out what it was that I wasn't allowed to listen to. I suppose at the time jazz wasn't considered real music compared to the classics. Ha! I spit in your face, teacher! Jazz is probably more complex and also takes years to perfect, practice and sacrifice to achieve all it has to offer. I ought to know, after over 5 decades, I'm still trying. There are of course those gifted one's that can pick up anything easily, you know, the prodigies. I've always had to work hard, extremely hard along with many sacrifices in life to get to where I am today with it. Things are of course much easier today than when I was young but when I decided that it was something that I truly wanted even with learning disabilities, I have to admit it's been quite a trip, and a very difficult one at that. Because I am such a hyper individual I change my styles constantly. I move around from one jazz style to another as I get bored with one. I have an insatiable thirst for knowledge in other forms of jazz and even at my age of 58 am constantly learning new stuff. Music is of course a never ending learning process especially the jazz form. I can play country and rock and have done so but chose to play jazz because it keeps me intrigued and wanting to learn more. Should you be compelled to comment, feel free. I am not here however to play the "if I comment on your music then you should comment on mine game". If I don't get back to you to thank you personally which sometimes I don't do, I will go ahead and thank you ahead of time. Thank you for your honest and unsolicited, expecting nothing in return heart felt comments! Those are the one's I cherish the most!
