Wow. Sly, musicians like you and Pascal (Syngularity), Emp and so many others make me adore this genre.
This is a stimulating track. The intro draws one in - and then, one is hit with the melody and rhythmic entirety...wow.
The production is flawless...the guitar work is excellent. The mood expressed here is deep and provocative.
An excellent track, to be sure: flawless performances expressing a deep compositional vision.
Great work, Sly...

really cool instrument sounds at the start, and good letting it evolve in it's own time. And soaring guitar. Cool stuff.

Really nice work here from the two of you, you work well together. Superb guitar playing, the beat is great, real nice Sly. The RatMan!

I was just following the lead to this tune-- and glad I did. This one comes from two musicians that are very highly regarded, here, and surely do not let us down with it! Sly's music is a skillfull and perfect medium, and sets the action for Paul's signature guitar leads-- and away we float... on a magic carpet ride!
Excellent tuneage!

Another great journey into the mysterious and unknown from Sly, with the added bonus of having Mr. Paul O. on there as well. Paul's guitar(s) add a great layer of melody and magesty to a great piece of music. The synths are incredible: evocative and minimalistic, with only what's needed to add nuance and energy.
Paul and Sly have something uncanny in common, I think: they can both play all the really cool stuff and do all the tricks, but as with this track and all others they've been involved with: the music comes first. There's a solid foundation here. And a reason for this song to exist.
Peace,
Jim

If you want to cross dress...
I mean cross genre's.that's fine by me.
So long as the music is as good as this,I really don't care how it gets tagged, and I DO very much take the point of it.
Suspensful opening....
Setting the stage and then WHOOSH in comes Paul...
Hitting that arabic scale, does it for me,and he does it so damn well.
You composed an alighty track here Sly...
It shifts in mood oh so smoothly...
From the instrumental passages,or elctronic orchestral, one might say,to the more traditional progressive passages.
Yep,could have saved myself some typing and just written "CLASS"
That says it all.
Nigel.

so i've waited.. i've been looking forward to this.. it sounds like a special moment.. an intriguing intro to be sure.. slow and sure.. building into a nice rhythm of changes.. thought it might be headed east.. and already when it kicks in it's a middle eastern treat.. in their diatonic way.. you seem to have something to say.. i like you beat sly.. sexy and sweet.. the strings after the guitar give it distance.. a procession drawing into view from afar.. lovely build.. an oasis looms.. yes and a party is in swing.. all kinds of funky things.. this is the best part.. pure music art.. sly you did all this or paul some synthin too?.. this part is awesome is all i got for you.. and then the guitar again.. a much happier end.. love this guitar section.. with that veiled eastern complexion.. nice fluid finger inflections.. nice mode paul man.. really fits sly's more than awesome beat.. first choice for E spotlight.. is voting alright?.. this is standing tall and shining bright.. :-)

hey Sly, you and Paul really nailed a superb song here. You lay down the best backing music and Mr Oakley's guitar just sings with it....fascinating! Love the twists and turns it takes. Yeah this is purely great music. And the sound is huge.

It's rare I type and listen, but since bar one I've been anticipating christmas morning on the next few bars I had to start typing now! This is like Vangelis on psychodelia only a little more pumped. A driven beat that will have you playing air accelerator more than air guitar.
The percussion that bounces in about 5:54 isn't a distraction but the fruit to the cake as it throws you back like the downward drop on a rollercoaster for the ending.
You can come away from this musical trip with a T-Shirt printed "I rode Sebuna..and lived". And so, while you maybe reading this for the first time, I'm on my third outing and what a ride.

Thanks Rob :
It is electronic i am being a little cynical in that I am kinda guessing it'll get more attention tagged as instrumentel rock than it would as electronica ! I guess anyone that knows me will expect a degree of electro to be happening though......hope I don't offend anyone crossing genres!
