I'm really diggin' this sound. Love the ambience. Super sound choices; really draws me in, very tasteul and has a fluid liqidy motion to it; seems like I'm altered; yep, I'm floating over water and it's a relaxing feeling. Very nifty blend of sounds-great synth and neat percussives.
EXCELLENT. A fave of yours now for sure amigo.
-Your friend and fan. -Vesa.
Very neat to get a chance to hear you. I've been too busy teaching, but haven't forgotten.

thanks reapersq, glad you like the tones. On a quick spin thru melbourne and hong kong so get back to ya soon

Yeah the rain in the intro really sets it up for a beautifully soothing piece. This track has a very clear and full sound, excellent thru my headphones.
|
 |
thanks kephas, hope all is good there

Love the rainstick in the intro...such a soothing sound.
Sweet and melodic work on keys...with a nice contrast coming from the percussion. Cosmic tones emanating powerfully from this track.
Excellent work!

digging this! Love that low end sound you have going on. Reminds me of my stomach when I am hungry hehe. It sounds awesome. Very cool sound indeed. Layered with that nice melody piece and this comes off very well.
|
 |
Always an adventure: that's your music. And always a pleasure. Great textures, you accomplish setting a nicely tense mood here.
Peace,
Jim

Ian, I had to come back to hear some more of your art!
Beautiful, beautiful soundscape ... well, you can almost call it a landscape since this is what I see, in my mind - eyes closed, drifting away. I see pure nature, raw and wild and untamed, yet, its comforting and peaceful. That echoey synth speaks volumes ... almost like it wants to taint this picture, but in fact it's just adding its own character ... :-)
Outstanding piece, Ian. I'll be back for more!
Cheers
Heinz.

het thanks eric, tis true, is improvisation so, ahem, meander it does. I have another longer version that is same but different. Korg software synths.
|
 |
I really like this track...I especially enjoyed it's gentle strength, meandering as it did into my mind...You seem to know how to paint with music...But the painting is never finished or static...Colours bleed into each other and create new textures...and the light is forever changing...Beautiful and introspective music...
Eric

Love the opening, although a nice heavily reverbed bass drum enveloping the crunch of the guitar would not have gone amiss. So much going on within the track it's hard to pinpoint various places, but it remains uncluttered, and nicely arranged. Unlike your other tracks, this one isn't drifting, more pulling you along, as if it's taking you to a moment you just have to witness.

For Ambient Spotlight Artist of the Month, you have gifted us with two wonderful tracks settling either end of the spectrum. I must admit, I do like this a lot more (my kinda ambience lol). While white_orion was a headtrip, this is a soultrip, blending sonics together is a nice package. More floaty and dreamy, as if you've just come off the dance floor and hit the Chill Room. Listening to your work tells me one thing-I need more practice.

Such a warm and gentle soundscape of beautiful washes and tempting hints at melodies and forms which bring out fantastic images and scenarios in the mind. So easy to get lost in wonderful ambient tapestries such as this! I really enjoyed this track a great deal!!! Thanks for sharing!

Excellent production, with wonderful balance...
Great piece!

Extremely beautiful soundscape! I hope I am not taking too great of liberties but I hear a Peter Gabriel type vocal track on top of your song. In my head it was beautiful. :)

This is my type of altering music. Nice ambience. Very neat choice of sounds on your synth. Quite original. A wavy feeling comes over me, like being in warm water floating. Very spacey, dreamy relaxing. Worth more listens. EXCELLENT. Good production and mix.
Thanks for the pleasure. -Vesa.

By listen to your music, I´m on a journey to a other world, let me forget all those things. really fantastic, great production you got a great spirit, thanks.

I like the buildup, slow and steady win the race. The synth pad here are very soothing and the way you path them in the layering mood is very creative. Although there is no melody line to bring out the lead but the flow itself is already so sensational. Indeed, you don't need a melody line for such natural flow music for the relaxing moment. A music for healing your soul and fainted heart. Thanks for sharing such beautiful relaxing music, close your eye and fly away.
With million of love from Singapore.

Vangelis meets the mystical breath of Tangerine Dream. Soothing and thought provoking. Your work just astounds me as to its journey, and finite is no exception. The music thinks for itself, moves on its own course around the sonic landscape, over hills, through the valleys, no inertia, no sudden disturbance, just a gentle guiding hand pulling you forward.

Whenever I see the word Acoustic or Guitar, they really attract my attention. So, for the last review today, I choose this simply awesome one. The heartbeat in the startup catch my nerve coz my heart was beating as fast too. Oops, don't bring me to the hell. LOL! The chilling part of this music is like tasting the wine, you must be lead slowly into the core of the composition inorder to feel the charms of this track. I was like lost in the space and getting nowhere. Space journey in the dark hole indeed.
With million of love from Singapore.

A fabulous heartbeat here..I`m not sure what`s made that, but it works so well...A gorgeously melancholy feel grabs at me while I listen here...Ambience at it`s best...This is something for closing one`s eyes to and drifting off into inner thoughts..:-)
Very nice..:-)
Peace n love Mags :-)

That's one of the lonliest guitars I've heard in a while. Crying out it's loved one's name in the middle of a deserted city. This track could of just had the guitar, its beautiful. There's a perverse beauty in solitude and this is just one of those tunes that cannot be crowded out by having ten people in a room listening. It's for laying back and contemplating, feeding off the notes as they reach for the heart and massage away the blues.
