So yesterday I was getting ready to take my oldest daughter up to McDonald's since the new toy's are Littlest Petshop. As I started the car I noticed there was a little girl about 3-4 years old in a diaper in my neighbors driveway.
I waited a few minutes for a parent to show up and I didn't see one so I asked her if she was ok. She said she could not find "granny" and was obviously lost. So I called 911 and let them know I found a small child. Right before the police showed up some guy pulls up and says I can't believe she wandered down this far. I think she walked about 20 houses down the street. Apparently she walked out the front door and no one noticed.
The police spent about an hour at their house and I would bet child services will be called. I guess they were babysitting. As a parent, if I dropped my kids off at their grandparents house and the police had to be called to locate one of them, I am not sure how long it would take for me to speak to them again. What they hell were the grandparents thinking?? Someone could have easily have picked her up and drove away.
