Added this straight to my favourites!
Lovely evocative guitar playing, recording/mixing/production is top notch.
And the use of a slow 3/4 time just enhances the sheer pleasure of listening to it.

im finding so many cool players on this site and i see i missed one of your better ones--this is crystal clear in production and i like the word enchanting--it does describe this piece perfectly--good use of of lead lines--oh that flute--sweet--nice back and forth guitar--nice--really enjoyed this one the bottom end lead notes are killa!!

Love the ambient intro. Great combination of sounds. Excellent melodic lead work, complemented by superb synths and drums. Really lyrical piece of music. Love the reedy tone in that "flute" synth sound. Really great piece of work.

 |
Nicely recorded. I love the atmosphere. I really like what you've done with the effects on the guitar, attack to the left, verb to the right. Nice touch!

Drummers rule!! Great atmosphere in this, very impressed with your multi instrumental talent. A natural touch and feel you have, thankfully you progressed to this and shared it. Title and composition match your thoughts nicely.
..perfect calmness..

Enjoyed that very much, nicely paced and some superb work on the guitar. Well done!

Very clean intro, let's me just enjoy the sonic landscape, all comes thru so clear. Being a guitar player, I'm loving that sweet round overdriven sound and tasty playing. Drum, bass, synth you really captured all that sweet playing well. Nice mix.

Nice easy going tune man.
Lovely subtle lines.
I would have to agree that you use space and time quite effectively...

Ah....
Bliss...
Perfect introduction.
When the whole band comes in,it does so in a very subdued manner, just kind of drifted in.
Excellent guitar work and a very nice bass as well.
The synth lead is also very cool,flute-esque...
A very introspective piece, one to daydream to,stare out the window and let it all float past.
Greatly enjoyed.
Nigel.

That guitar work is dreamy...as well as the composition! Excellent work.

OOOOOH I like this piece. I love how you had the ability to leave "musical holes" which make the instruments all the more powerful.

ha dto hear this one again first.. takes my breath away.. so sad.. so beautiful.. man a drummer who can play guitar so masterfully? you are
a uniquely exceptional musican rob.. this one of the best guitar ballads i've heard.. don't remember satch or anybody achieving the meloncholy of this.. a rock guitar ballad that is really jazz too.. especially the intro and outro make the jazz knowledge of harmonony clear.. awesome.. :-)

"A Reflection of Then" in the mirror of the moment we call "Now," and what a beautiful musical image it is. You've found the perfect place for each instrument and left enough space for the atmosphere to swirl around in. Most enjoyable listening!

Style....man you got it in spades here. It not only can be heard, but felt. A really serene picture you've painted and with such finesse. Great balance of synth and guitar. Easily could be used as-is in a movie soundtrack perhaps some retropective twist of fate. Awesome string bending splendor on the guitar with perfect tone mating well to keyboard sonics. Excellent! Peace~Blake

Your music is a great treat to listen to. It's always an adventure when I first explore a new artist. You did not let me down, rather kept my interest with your song writing. I love the guitar, but would have turned it up a notch when it first comes in ... just a personal preference to have it match that great synth sound you have. Excellent, I really enjoyed the listen.

I just starte reviewing the good friends that sent me messages and... Your music is quite inviting and different. Motivates me to explore subtle musicalities. I do that a lot but I felt there was no audience for cool relaxing spiritual creations. the reviewers here tell me I am wrong. And certainly I am.
I will listen to all your material tomorrow the 5th...
Very good!

well let me say it has touched me too.. lovely tonal color to the synth and guitar.. it's like a very deep watercolor.. rich pastels.. love the meloncholy.. the easy sad flow.. a lament.. for the world? I hear you brother.. man you are not the first drummer I've known who is also an excellent guitarist.. but you might be the last.. it is very reassuring though to hear that people still want to play instruments.. lol.. thank
you.. this was a most excellent listen.. merry christmas.. :-)

Nice work brother.Very emotionally charged piece of music.
Guitar playing is soulful, expressive, articulate, and just plain smoking !
