Never too late for a cool tune from a fave artist.
This really has a nifty funky flavour I just love Gary. Good sound all around. Love the percussives. Great guitar playing; nice variations there. This makes my head sway with the great groove. Fine instrumental. Fab sound levels & simply an EXCELLENT PRODUCTION. Like the guitar tone on the solo. This has an original touch, a rock fusion to me.
Superb. Love it. Most inspiring. Great playing guys.
Take care Gary. -Vesa.

Though I realy like the timing of the blade ticks it's jsu a neat part of a very nice tune in smallest setting possible. As an electrical guys who just knows some tricks I can only have lots of respect for this effort !
Excellent romantic piece of music...and a challenge to arrange in a wider setting ! Eh...I'm dreaming now...haha !
Kind regards
Wim

Extremely well done. Technically right on in your playing. It is really an excellent tune. You need to share with us other acoustic players how you get such an exceptionally well done recording. Nothing like the organic sound of an acoustic guitar to stir the soul. Really well done.

I heard quite number of acoustic music over the net for the past few years and was very envy the way you people slide, pluck and swing the chords. This is one thing that I will never get to learn in this life. The same sensation came to me as I play along this track with my spiritual flute, very compatible in our sound. This beautiful rhythms has just right elements for a lovely tune. Great playing and continue with your skillful passion always.
With million of love from Singapore.

Oh ,yes, such lovely picking right from the start pulls me in...very bright crisp sound Gary. A relaxing tune for me; an inspiring one also.
Good sound. My headphones to my synapsis to make a joyful connection in the strings of my brain...love that melody later on repeated a bit..so fine...very consistent playing; focusd, well thought through, Expressive & gentle playing. SUPERB****

Staying the course is indeed a optimistic passion but at time during our difficult times, we tend to give up easily. Only when we encounter someone with a beautiful stuff, then we wake up to our senses to go on. Thanks for this beautiful inspiration that goes a million miles. As always, the unusally acoustic have make my day. Thanks for sharing.
With million of love from Singapore.

Sometime, I was wondering what is the ultimate destination of making music? I believe most of us are aiming to make money and get fame. But for me, knowing more beautiful people like you and so many others is more rewarding than that. The simplicity of this acoustic with the bell is already so enchanting and refreshing. A lift in the soul level with such fine tuning.

Yeah: this is a great piece. Well produced and performed flawlessly.
EXCELLENT!!!

Nicely played, of course. I'd love to know how you recorded this. A combination of line-in and mic? Mic only? How many mics? Placement? Obviously what you have done here is wonderful, tastefully augmented with percussion. A treat for the ears... though I can hear a woman's voice singing some root notes with it.
|
 |
Nice...well balanced acoustic sound. i do love acoustic guitar well played. This a very relaxing and enchanting tune...:) Thanks for your review on 'Merlin's Kitchen'. Appreciated. Gordon

 |
I admire he effort and the foresight to disengaged the snare filiments for the hollow snare hit...that just rings true with the fine acoustical playing...simplicity is a matter of thought.
This is a fine example of excellence in musical resolve.
Ahhh, refreshing, uplifting. simple. ka-ching.

Lovely performance as usual. The central chord progression is nicely melodic and the light percussion is effective as it doesn't distract from the solo fingerstyle feel of the piece. Great stuff!
