General Questions
  • How Do I Add, Edit, Delete Audio, Blogs, etc. On My Page?
    This is very easy actually! Just click on the Audio Tab and to the far right of Audio, click the + button. Once you add the song, you can click the garbage can to delete it or the gear to edit it. The same is true for Video. Blogs etc.
  • Notifications?
    You can set your Notification to be Do Not Notify, Email or Private Message. If you set it to Email Only, nothing will appear in your Inbox on Mixposure.com. If you set it to Private Note, the message will go to your Inbox and an email will be sent to tell you that you have a Private Message.
  • How Do I Do Song Reviews?
    Mixposure has Artist Comments, Song Reviews, Photo Comments, Video Comments just to name a few so it is important to understand the difference! Song Reviews are done on the Artist Music Page ex. www.mixposure.com/artist_name/ or from the New Songs List.
  • What about copyright and ownership?
    As a rule of thumb, as long as you own the copyright for the material you wish to use, or you have permission from the copyright owner, you can upload or embed your material for public performance or downloading.   • What music, video and images can I upload or embed on my page?
    We currently support pretty much any audio format like, aac, flac, m4a, mp3, ogg, wav and wma (64kbps-320kbps). You can also embed youtube or vimeo videos.
  • How do I report inappropriate content?
    Video pages, galleries and blogs include a link to the admin PM system which can be used to report any offensive material. When reporting please ensure that you provide us with as much detail as possible quoting the name of the video, image or blog and including the originators name.

Subscriptions
  • What is the pricing for subscriptions?
    Subscription pricing is based on month to month or yearly. For instance the 1 year pricing reflects the most discount for users wishing to pay their subscription annually. For more information and a breakdown of the options available to subscribers see the subscription pages here.
  • How do I pay for my subscription?
    You can go here to review the available subscriptions. Simply click the upgrade button at the bottom (you must be logged in). Your subscription will be renewed automatically and an email will be sent to notify you 7 days before your next subscription is due.
  • How do I cancel my subscription?
    You may cancel your subscription at any time during your subscription term, however, refunds for open subscriptions are not available. For more information on cancelling your subscription please visit your Paypal/Foxy Cart account.
  • What is Foxy Cart
    Foxy Cart is a payment processor that works with PayPal and other companies to allow our users the ability to use virtually any form of payment.

Digital Sales
  • When do I get paid for my digital sales?
    Each time your sales account reaches $20 this amount is transferred to your Paypal account.
  • Why is there a minimum sales price and a 5% charge?
    This is our standard fee for all digital sales which allows us to recover our transaction fees with Foxy Cart.

  • Can I Add Wallpaper to my Page?
    You can add an image that will appear on the sides of your page. On your Artist Page on the right. click the Update Profile Link and then the Customize tab to add an image.
  • I do not like the Timeline landing page. Can I change it?
    Yes! On your Artist Page on the right. click the Update Profile Link and then the Customize tab and from the drop down menu select your landing page..
  • Why is my song only streaming 60 seconds??
    This is by design if you are selling your music. This is pretty much the industry standard for security and follows iTunes model.
  • What is a Playlist?
    A Playlist is simply an internet radio station "radiocast" and is similar to a PodCast, you can include any artists songs in your Playlist which have been made available to share by each artist. The Playlist is embedded and viewable on every members home page.
  • How do I embed video and images from other sites?
    You can embed video and images into your blog entries by pasting the code anywhere in your blog text.

  • Can I embed a video, MP3 or image which may contain offensive or expicit material?
    Members are advised not to embed any material which may be offensive to other users or explicit in nature, in most cases this will lead to the termination of your account.
  • When I try and send a private note I get Invalid User. How do I fix this?
    This is a "Live Search" field so as you add letters, it will populate the available name. Just click the name!
  • How come I can't send private notes to everyone?
    This is a security feature and prevents unwanted messages from spammers. In order to send Private Messages, you must be following each other. If only one is following, neither can send a private message to the other. This Follows the standard that most sites, including Twitter, are using right now.
