Welcome to the New Mixposure everyone! I just wanted to take a few moments and share some information.

This site is not affiliated with the Mixposure of Old. I was a member there along with many of the existing members on this site. When Kyle let the domain go, we decided it would be a great idea to buy it. We tried to buy it from Kyle but he did not return our call. Instead we purchased it from a third party vendor.

That being said, are we the same as the Mixposure of old? Yes and No. Yes in that we provide a lot of the same features and No because we provide a lot of features that the old Mix did not offer.

I know some people had a great experience with the old Mixposure. Kyle built a great place for many musicians to hang their hat. It was ashame that it went down the way it did. Like the Phoenix though, Mixposure has risen again from out of the ashes. This time under new management and a team of dedicated musicians/moderators to make your experience a positive one.

Oh additionally, if you have links on the internet to your old mix page, make sure you use the same band name so your links become active again. If you are an existing member here and need a name change, please let me know.

If you are getting a strange error message when trying to reply to a message or doing a review, please let me know so I can make a quick modification on your account. Just a few quick things! I wanted to let everyone know that we changed the way the charts are being done. Before it used to be every artist was limited to 3 songs on the charts. I have changed that to 1. This way no artist can dominate the charts.

As an example. Let's say you have 3 songs that are the top 3 songs on the site. 2 are in Rock Genre and 1 is in Acoustic Genre. If you are looking at the top ten songs on the site, only the highest played song you have would appear. The same is true by Genre. Only the highest played song will appear. Hopefully this gives all artists more exposure.

Mike K is in the process of moving so his show will be off the air for the next three weeks. We will try and do something in the time slot. What I have no idea but we will do something lol. More deatils can be found here. Thanks, Dazed!

What a guy with a big sound, playing his acoustic guitar! And, please, take a listen if you have missed the live show, because Gary doesn't only have a big sound, but also a HUGE heart and some of the stuff you will listen to will make your eyes watery! That was our Center Stage Presentation for August 9, 2008: Gary Burris! Not only were the people in chat moved by Gary's awesome presenation, but also those who just "listened in" without visiting the chat! Truly awesome is just the word that describes this CSP to me!

This seems to be an area that people have problems with so I thought I would post a quick How To Add Videos to Blogs!

So let's say you have a Youtube or some other "Embedded" video you want to add to a blog. There are 2 ways to do this. When you create a new blog, there is a menu. At the top left, the first box is HTML. Click it and paste in the embed video code. Click update. THIS WILL NOT APPEAR IN THE BLOG MESSAGE but will appear when you click Create Entry.

If it is just a YouTube Video, you can also click the YouTube Icon on the menu. A box will open asking for the ID. So if your link looks like this: http://www.youtube.com/v/TruLuv4MeNu the id would be TruLuv4MeNu.

Doctor C took on board the task of reinventing my old track Six O'Clock Swill and has done a fantastic job. This is a complete change of focus from a former 6/8 track to a bluesy shuffle compete with Doc's trademark keyboards and stellar guitar work from Gary.

It's now less about the evils of drink and more of a "drinking song".

Thanks Doc and Gary. Love working with you guys. That's four tracks doneso we're well on the way towards a CrC CD. BTW if anyone can come up with a

Well, it's in French. It came out sounding much cleaner than it would have in English. I posted the lyrics up in both languages so you can listen and read along. This song brought me to the edge of something that I'm not sure I understand, so I'm curious as to what you guys have to say about it. Thanks for everything Mix.
