Some days I'm hearing a melody in my head or working on mixing the bumps out of one of my songs and a small voice in my head says, What’s the use, nobody cares anyhow. I may consider watching some TV or even eating some pretzels, but I click up Mixposure instead. I read some friendly banter in the forum, listen to some really hot creations in the new songs” listing and see I have some mail. Sure enough, someone listened to one of my songs and thinks it’s one of the best she has heard in some time. The next 5 hours are spent laying down the tracks for that exciting new tune I heard in my head. Life is good with the Mix. R W Kresiak I want to give thanks and a huge compliment to all the artists that enable myself, Kephas and Wim, (Wafe Roofer) to put together our live radio shows on Mixposure.com - Mix Radio. Without all of the great talent, we would not be able to do that! When I came to Mixposure (back then, iMS) and suggested to Dazed a Live Radio, I was welcomed with open arms and he has given me a free hand to do with the Radio as I would think it should be handled. This, compared to another site where I used to DJ, was totally refreshing to me as I was down and out and about to give it all up. Being an "artist" myself, I have always put my own music into the background, supporting other Indies. And I have done that for many years and I will continue to do so! So, thanks Dazed!! You are the pillar of this place we all call home and it certainly has become my permanent home! We currently have three live shows, a fourth coming soon. We also have some big news, published before THIS even gets out, I am sure. All I can say that Mixposure is what it is "the future of Independent Artists". I have heard my share of fantastic music here on Mixposure in the short time I have been here and I am looking forward to share my discoveries of great music by unsigned artists every single Saturday! And to all of you, thanks for also giving a listen to the DJ every now and then ... all three (soon four) are musicians ourselves and we thank you! Thanks, Mike The best place on the net for an artist to hang there hat! digger stone Although TCP is up on other music sites, Mixposure is considered 'home'. The reason is very simple: everyone makes it feel this way because of all the interaction going on. The artists and listeners here are involved with each other...reviews, radio, chat, blogs, forum, and an internal communication system make it easy. Another reason? The people are just plain nice and the indie music to be found here superb. I know of no other site anywhere that can stack up for musicians and music lovers alike. Cheers, Blake I've only been on Mixposure for a couple of weeks, and I have to be honest with you…..I don't even listen to the radio in my truck anymore. There is a real thing happening here, and some of the most talented people around are posting some of the best music out there. It doesn't matter if you are an aspiring beginner, or an accomplished player there is something for everyone. Really killer site!! Every effort to improve this site, continuously. This resulted in some restructuring and each stage presented another improvement. Nigel Potter I was looking for a place to post my music on-line with other Indie artist. One with a "personal touch". A place where I would feel like I was part of something. A place with diversity.Musicians sharing not only their music but information that could help anybody trying to learn about creating and recording music. Even a gateway to success for the ones trying. A place to sell my music should I make it that far. Well I found it at Mixposure. Everything I was looking for and more. I knew the minute I opened an account - a warm greeting and review popped into my mailbox shorly after posting my first song. It was soon followed by many other musicians commenting about my music and welcoming me there. It was easy enough to navigate around the site so in no time I was listening and posting comments too. What a great trip it's been. Listening and communicating with some of the greatest people and musicians I've ever had the pleasure of sharing music with. Man they even have radio stations that will air your music. And to top it off you can join in during the program and hang with the host, guest artist and other artist there. I didn't know then but it was a fairly new web-site. Since then it has grown. It's getting bigger and better everyday and I'm still very glad I found a "home" at Mixposure. After about two years as a Mixposure member I have no reservations about recommending the place to any musician and welcome them to make it home too. And did I say it's free? Can't beat that. But one can get an upgraded membership account too. Plenty of room for an artist to grow. It's not only the musicians that make Mixposure a great place in all honesty. There is a team of people there that take care of the place. They are also right there if one needs help with anything or just to answer questions. I am a 57 year old hobbyist musician, returning to music after a long retirement. I have been a member of many Omd’s of which I felt were pretty good and I had become somewhat attached to. I was led to MIXPOSURE by friends, being told of its’ “positive” atmosphere and great music. It didn’t take long to be warmly accepted into a crowd a friendly and talented musicians. The music of MIXPOSURE covers all genres, skill levels and the age range seems to be timeless, as well as meaningless. The support and is constructive and there’s always something interactive going on. MIXPOSURE is about the music and friendship. MIXPOSURE has live Radio and Chat Shows at various times during the week. It’s a QUICK growing community………get in while the rent is cheap…..hehehehehehehehehe. SO!!
