Well - I tried. A couple of musicians I contacted didn't reply. Two drummers have turned me down. This could take forever, and forever is something none of us have. So, I'm sending out an SOS to anyone who would be willing to collaborate with me! I've got a song ready with (so far) acoustic guitar and vocals. It's straight 4/4 rock, very simple and punchy. I've even left a two bar space after the middle eight for drum fill, but that could change at comp stage, of course. I'm hoping to add electric guitar, drums, bass, keys (ideally Hammond B3) and backing vocals. I usually work with dropbox, sharing separate mono tracks plus a 'mix in progress' to see how it all fits together. This is my first attempt at collaboration on Mixposure so I truly hope I get some positive responses!
