It would be hard to imagine the indie scene without you guys now... You have a signature sound,instantyly recognisable. This one already so much a classic on the scene,a Nexus mainstay,and rightly so. From the big band swing,smokey vocals,walking bass,and tasteful lead,it's all there. Classic. Nigel.

Other than the vocal "pops" this is super cool. Love the lyrics and your vocals. "My wife gave birth to triplets, and she was on the pill"? Oh, Lordy Lord! Great stuff -- good solo guitar work, by the way.

This tune of your many posted is by far my Fav...It's the middle slowed downed part that seals the deal for me...not only is it proper..its funny as hell, and hey, if a toon has the groove nailed down...and it makes you smile...well then...Thats It!! This is POWERFUL... this is like high energy blues...oooh I love the change up to the slow part. Lyrics are great, guitar and harmonica kick butt. you sing this perfectly and what a cool ending.
