Trying to help out a friend who HAS to sell his drums....

Don't want to sell, I have to. This great '70's vintage octa-plus vistaLite set is the real deal and is for a pro or a want to be. I am the original owner. I actually picked up the set directly from the Ludwig factory when they were still here in Chicago. I couldn't wait for the store I bought them from to get them in, as i was a working musician and on the road. The set is in great shape, I haven't played them in years. When I was cleaning them up I found one little stress crack on one of the toms, otherwise no cracks anywhere including seams. The stands, hi-hat and other hardware are included along with some Zildjian cymbals. Also fiberboard cases for the bass drums and floor tom and a few soft cases for a few of the toms. No foot pedals. Some newer heads on a few of the toms. This clear vistaLite set was fun to play and looked great on stage especially under different changing colored lights. The snare is chrome. 6",8",10",12",13",14",15",16", toms 18" floor tom 24" bases's. I prefer local pickup. If you are outside of the Chicago area we can figure out a shipping cost. Mehdi Hosseini often uses the word monodies not only as the title of his composition, but also as a musical term; by which he means the characteristics of single voice structures, adapting themselves to any musical texture. The composer recently had a new recording published in Tehran, which also takes on the title Monodis. For this album he collected compositions which were written based on regional folk tunes from different parts of Iran. The album was recorded in Russia by well-known local soloists, ensembles, and the Saint-Petersburg State Philharmonic Orchestra and State Academic Orchestra. All of the compositions were written between 2003 and 2009.
