lovely stephan.. the blend of the guitars (classic and acoustic?) in the intro is beautiful.. the theme on the acoustic is sweet and wonderfully played.. then the lyrical êlectric lead also beautifully played.. this is meloncholy and poignant.. your middle acoustic improv is just lovely and memorable.. uplifiting country rock guitar music of the finest sort.. thanks ^for a sweet guitar listen my friend.. gorgeous and sensitive.. cheers..

No never is enough time...I often say, & "time waits for no one"...right now I wish I had 48 hrs, in a day. Like the acoustic playing some very nice latin phrases and the electric with a more Santana style sound comes in,& with a welcome addition of organ all juxtapositioned well; cool interchange.....nifty percussive ticking away is all that's really needed, subtle bass. Good sound mix and fine arrangement.
Excellent composition Stephan. -Your friend.-Vesa.

Stephan,
This is a truly beautiful peace. I gives me that emotion I don't know whether to define as melancholy sad or peaceful beauty. Anyhow, very nice acoustic guitar work and interplay between acoustic and electric guitars. Nice, nice work.

wow! very nice Stephan. Beautifully played. Love the solos on here. Tasteful and pro comes to mind. Tone on the distorted solo works very well! Yeah this is very good.
|
 |
You take a progression and turn it into a stylized sweet groove. Thoughtful arranging and production. Expertly played....beautiful work,
Stephan!!! Acoustics and electric are outstanding ............:-)

Nice "s-l-o-w" bluesing... carry me back to night after night of Johnnie Walker after heartbreak... or somethin' like that. Guitars are clean, & I like the tune. Gets a HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for blues listeners who LOVE sweet heart-rending guitar!

Lovely smokey feel to this minor blues. Lovely tone and phrasing to the guitar work. Like the tone of "resignation" you have in your vocals on this one Stephan. The harmonies are really nice and from time to time I can hear what sound to be "pan flute" type sounds. Never heard them in a blues before. Sweet sounding tones in the solo and the double guitar works a treat. Again your phrasing is really lovely and I like the way you're prepared to allow space to enhance the feel rather than just sling notes together. Really cool track.
Cheers

Hey Stephan, I really dig this Blues number of yours. The fine arrangement makes this one a winner. To top it off, your vocals are perfectly on the mark with this one. Very nice listen! T'll have that on my show this weekend!
Cheers,
Mike

Hi Stephan, you've got a great voice, and I love the elegy of your guitar, and the sweet piano play. The mix sounds a bit back in the room, like a live recording - nevertheless: a pretty song!

The title caught my eye......had to listen......hehehehe, glad I did. This is a very cool blues track and it sure tells the story of the Barroom Blues. Man, I used to have those nights. Your guitar work is smooth as glass.....some very smooth slide work.......very clean. Your vox tell this story well.......GREAT JOB!!!

Like the slide playing...most inspiring. Sweet acoustic. Good gentle vocals, fine atmosphere. Great lyrics, moody feely in a romantic styled song most fine; love the harmonies. Great production and sound mix.

I am surprised you didn't put this down as jazz, because it certainly has the groove. As a friend once said, "Not enough o's in smooth." The production balance is excellent. The lead sits on top but doesn't overbear all else.
Almost a Steely Dan quality to the lead. Waiting to hear some "Ooh, ooh, he's so smooth," with a female trio in the back.
Hot track.

NICE!! Very sweet technical guitar parts. Very listener-friendly chord changes, yet with a unique take. The acoustic and electric swapping solos is really nice. I like the bridge / change at 1:03 +. Perfect for soloing. I had to go pick up my guitar and play along. That might not seem like much, but it is a high compliment.

Top-notch production here. Love the work on the bass, very smooth. Vocal delivery grows stronger as the song goes on. The only thing missing is a little honky tonk piano.
But that's a minor problem. A top-shelf tune here.

Haven't heard much new music from you lately Stephan but this was worth the wait. Love the slide. Made me want to dust my broom (whatever that means) and your vocals are perfectly suited to the style of this song. Great listen.
