I had recorded this as a mono acoustic/vocal scratch track to save the idea and to help generate some production thoughts. I liked the first take so I decided to stay with my original mono acoustic/vocal track and just use it as the base to build the song around. I wrote this for the proposed "anything haunted" Mixposure song contest but that seems to have dissipated like a ghostly apparition so I'm posting it up now. I hope you like it!

This is a collaboration from 2014. Kari/Redler created the music and asked for lyric and vocal additions. The subject was to be monkeys so I wrote these simple, innocent and playful lyric. Then found a melody to match. Since Kari's guitar work is excellent here, the instrumentation and production was kept to a minimum in the singer/songwriter style. To my ears, it works very well.
Kari/Redler - all music. Farrell Jackson - all vocals and lyric. http://www.mixposure.com/farrell-jackson/audio/19068/spider-monkey-love-farrell-and-kari

This is a collaboration between Finn (Auto Pilot) and myself for the SSTM. Finn did all the music and I did the lyric and vocals.
Finn's guitar absolutely rocks the house in this song!

I decided to do a cover of this Led Zeppelin song but to do it my way. I didn't want to stray too far from the original but I needed to make it my own. I wanted it in the acoustic genre but also wanted to rock it up a bit. So, as I often do, I enlisted a little help from my musical Mixposure friends. I want to sincerely thank Bud and Scott for helping bring this song to life and for helping me hit my vision.
Buddruming - Drums, percussions, and song poster design.
Scott Macleod - Fret-less bass and electric slide guitar.
Farrell Jackson - All vocals, acoustic guitar, and acoustic outro lead.
We hope you like it!

DrC - organ, drums programming, production and mix. Farrell Jackson - songwriter, guitar, bass, and all vocals.
DrC and I are working on a blues album of various blues styles. This is one more song closer to completion.
The lyric is a humorous look at the amount of time folks spend on social media and how it can affect relationships ie. Personal Computer Blues.

Since the Mixposure upgrade to the new format I've stuggled with quick and easy ways to send a thank you reply to someone that has taken the time to listen and review one of my songs. I've used personal email, posted a message on my own song review page, gone to their page and posted a thank you but these methods aren't as handy as the previous reply with quote option that was available.
I've now found the comment option when you click on the reviewer's page link/name which takes you to their timeline page. There you can see their review of your song, click on the comment option and post a thank you, which they will hopefully see.
Does anyone know of a better way to do this?
BTW, thanks TV for listening to and reviewing my song You Don't Feel!
The picture is of my very first serious garage band, lol.......where did all that hair disappear to ?????????????
