Who Wrote Vision?

By TCP, 2009-12-25
Who Wrote Vision?

After 3 teleconference calls, 333 posts to our project room on Zoho, and at least 23 interim mixes - out pops the TCP song entitled Vision.

The music was written by our new member Glenn Arpino - it's one of those songs that got instant attention. I remember Jack starting to dink around with guitar leads very soon after Glenn posted his first keyboard backing. This is all we needed to realize something special was going to happen. Of course, the wonderful lyrics were written by Henry who pens them all for us.

The song goes back a number of years with Glenn making some adjustments and additions for this version of the song. Frustrated for quite some time that the song would never receive the formal attention it deserved, this was a good fit for TCP.

With this, we are very pleased to announce Glenn into our musical family. Besides being a talented keyboardist, he brings a wealth of progressive writing experience to the table. We hope you enjoy Glenn's first song for TCP, and join us in welcoming him to the band.

Happy Holidays to all!

Blake, for TCP

Album Finished

By TCP, 2009-03-01
Album Finished

With the release of the last song ("She") needed for the album, I want to thank a few people....

First, Jim Miller....the guy who mastered this whole thing. Not the easiest music in the world to master. Jim is a first rate person and an audio engineer with a seriously caring attitude and huge skills. Jim is on Mixpo too! Completely thrilled with Jim's approach to mastering and his result speaks for itself. THANK YOU JIM!!!

Secondly, my partners Jack and Henry. As I've stated elsewhere, they are the best 2/3 of TCP and it is with the deepest of gratitude that I express my thanks to them. At times it seemed like a long time, but when I think of just a little over a year of working together, producing an album, and then as a direct result signed by a record company - that's not too bad! Thanks guys....luvya both. ~blake

Sheep

By TCP, 2008-01-13
Sheep

A song about the sheep-like nature of the general public and the increasing herding instincts due to the interests of others.

TCP welcomes the debut of Reid Tobias, my son, on bass. And Glenn Liljeblad is back with his lead guitar in fine form once again.

Players

Henry Tarnecky - vocals

Reid Tobias - bass

Glenn Liljeblad - lead guitar

Glenn Arpino - mellotron

Blake Tobias - keyboards, rhythm guitar, song, drum programming

The sheep are a large flock in June 2004 in Causs Noir, Cevennes, France. They are wearing bells (as sheep often do) so they can be located easier should they stray.

Consider this:
Our financial records and transactions are constantly monitored, our medical records are no longer private, cameras are popping up like weeds to record events all over the US and EU, cell phones are easy to track by government GPS applications, and soon the US national ID system (Real ID) will be able track your whereabouts based on your driver's license. Virtually all email and any type of phone calls are illegally monitored most anywhere in most places in the world automatically. These are just some of the facts, not fiction. It is not paranoia or delusion. It is a reality many don't know or won't think about. Research it anywhere you can or at the TCP web site.
