Eye of the Tiger

By Beerhunter, 2006-04-03
Eye of the Tiger

Many of you have been enquiring about our "Eye of the Tiger" tribute to Frank Scott and why it is not available for download. This site does not allow us to host cover songs on this server. Ice Boxx fully supports this decision. For this reason we will continue to use Soundclick to host this cover tune. You can download a copy of Eye of the Tiger at http://www.soundclick.com/4Francis and the video is still available at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fh525OMTyQE

"Spiral" Concept album

"Spiral" Concept album

We have finally put together the basic structure for our concept album. We thought that the only way to forge ahead is to assemble what we have and see what areas we can improve upon. We are in the process of ripping it apart and redoing all pieces so that we can release a CD. Check out the player to the right for a sneak peak of the pre-production version!

We are pleased to announce our new band name

We have been discussing for quite some time that we should change our band name. Our former name "Racket Band" was a great name for us in the "early days". We started out as just a bunch of good friends jammin'. After a couple of years of jammin' together we started writing our own songs and decided to pursue this new combination of musicians further. So without further ado I bring you..... Ice Boxx

Who is The London Project anyways?

Who is The London Project anyways?

The London Project is the latest collaboration between Lonnie Jeeves and Don Carr. We are from Vancouver Canada. Don and I have been together for about 5 years now. Over these few years we have ventured off into many directions but one thing has remained common...guitars!! We are currently building our library so that we can be well presented to the film and tv industry. Much of what you hear on this site has been created with that in mind. Wishing you all the best, Lonnie Don and Chelsea The London Project

Uncle Nestor

By Beerhunter, 2006-04-04
Uncle Nestor

Chris Waldner, studio drummer on our "Eye of the Tiger" cover is the drummer for Uncle Nestor. Be sure to check out their awesome "Woman Like the Wind" video at http://www.unclenestor.com What is Uncle Nestor? Country-fried rock n roll. Thats Uncle Nestor. More melodious than your average rock band louder than your average country band. But who wants to be average anyway? Sonically, this 3-piece brings many different influences to the table with a few constants: thick guitars, solid grooves, and sweet vocal harmonies. Their live shows inspire hoarse throats and tired legs (and sometimes ringing ears!). Uncle Nestor is poised for a breakout year in 2006. The debut album is receiving rave reviews and the video for the first single, Woman Like the Wind, has already been featured on MuchMoreMusic and MuchMusic
