New album coming soon!

Everyday we are inching closer to having a complete album done. We are currently working on album art! Very excited to see things coming together.

The next time you complain about your computer crashing, popping, clicking or just generally not behaving, refer to this video. It will help keep things in perspective.

The first part of the session did not go as smoothly as we had liked however. We had to do a bunch of trouble-shooting before we could proceed. Through the process of elimination we were able to determine a problem with mic wall plate "B" which inevitably delayed us by a couple of hours.

By this time our session drummer (Dustin) had plenty enough rehearsal time and was able to crank out a couple of "keepers" within the first couple of takes.</div><div>In the end patience prevailed and we were able to get Greg's song that much closer to completion.</div></div></div></div>
Here is a drum only track using the room mics only. I will post a mixdown of the entire kit in a later blog.

Uncle Nestor

By Beerhunter, 2006-04-04
Uncle Nestor

Chris Waldner, studio drummer on our "Eye of the Tiger" cover is the drummer for Uncle Nestor. Be sure to check out their awesome "Woman Like the Wind" video at http://www.unclenestor.com What is Uncle Nestor? Country-fried rock n roll. Thats Uncle Nestor. More melodious than your average rock band louder than your average country band. But who wants to be average anyway? Sonically, this 3-piece brings many different influences to the table with a few constants: thick guitars, solid grooves, and sweet vocal harmonies. Their live shows inspire hoarse throats and tired legs (and sometimes ringing ears!). Uncle Nestor is poised for a breakout year in 2006. The debut album is receiving rave reviews and the video for the first single, Woman Like the Wind, has already been featured on MuchMoreMusic and MuchMusic
